Marvel Comics is getting out of the digital comics business, instead opting for a sports entertainment approach of licensing it out for guaranteed money. It's a common media strategy that has been uncommon in comics (until now). (1/?)

Skybound closes out a new round of public investment soon that has produced a lot of eye-opening & unreported data about the company, ownership structure of the core comics, & some curious settlements. Today they're holding a rare public call talking more about it.

Started #Carrie last night. We’re two episodes in & I’m impressed. I’ve not read @StephenKing novel yet, or saw the original film. My opinion comes from my storytelling bias as an author/creator. The pacing, structure, visuals, & characters are all great. I’m excited to finish!

Mike Flanagan’s New Stephen King Show Is as Close to a Perfect Adaptation as TV Gets

Fans often judge adaptations based on "accuracy," but Prime Video's latest hit offers a new way to measure quality that makes it one of the best yet.

I'm willing to bet there are more comic book dealers at mncba.org than NYCC, despite being a fraction of the size. I know it will be just as fun. Join me this weekend!

One of the best renditions of poetry ever recorded. Actor Michael Sheen delivers a powerful performance of Dylan Thomas’s 1951 poem, "Do not go gentle into that good night.”

In the upcoming election don’t think any Republicans will be voting against their own party. They will not. It’s up to everyone else to get out and vote. It’s the only way for change or watch things continue to get worse daily. Don’t vote and it’s on you.

Petition for Kyle Chandler to voice Hal Jordan in animation. Sydney Chandler is already voicing Nosferata in CREATURE COMMANDOS Season 2. A father and daughter DCU crossover is right there.

Regarding #LANTERNS - I really hope this isn’t the end of Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan. That’s all.

#Lanterns is a perfect example why you can’t let expectations dictate the final experience. I’m a huge GL fan, went in with certain hopes, had theories as the show went on. It may not have been the show I *thought* I wanted, but it’s what I needed & all the more wonderful for it.
