Wow...alarming situation!
Just a few days ago, Modi ji was boasting that India’s foreign exchange reserves exceed $700 billion and that the banking system is in its strongest position in decades. As with all things, he conveniently left out the full picture.
India’s forex reserves had actually fallen by about $51 billion from their early-September levels. More worryingly, RBI has already deployed more than half of the $140 billion foreign-currency mobilisation haul.
In fact, over the last six months, the RBI has repeatedly stepped in with major measures whenever the exchange rate approached the ₹97/USD mark.
When you take lessons in economic policy from the world’s fourth-largest unregistered NGO, this is what you get.
It makes you wonder: without this extraordinary support from the RBI, the dollar would have long crossed the ₹100 mark.

Urgent #Neha Bora #ReleaseNehaNow:
After a lot of pressure on Delhi Police, colleagues have been informed about Neha's whereabouts. She has been transported across Delhi for 5 hours where she was the lone detainee.
Her lawyers have met Neha at the R K Puram station. It is mid night and police is not giving any clarity about her release.
Neha has been sick for the past few days and needs her medicines. The police is even refusing us to give her that.
Why is Delhi Police holding Neha until Mid Night in a Police station?
When will Neha be released? Why is a women student leader being put in a police station at mid night?
Shame on Delhi Police @RahulGandhi @priyankagandhi

Santosh “Ji”,
First, read the withdrawal letters relating to thousands of Form 7 applications filed by RSS and BJP cadres.
Then answer a few simple questions:
Why are so many of these applications now being withdrawn?
Where did your cadres get pre-printed Form 7s containing voters’ details?
Where did they obtain voter data, including information identifying voters by religion?
Were machine-readable electoral rolls or voter databases made available to you? If yes, by whom?
And most importantly:
Why is the BJP-RSS ecosystem repeatedly answering questions that are being asked of the Election Commission and the CEC?
Are they paying you to be their spokesperson?

P.S. Santosh “Ji”, when is the RSS finally going to register itself?

The Election Commission of India is under fire like never before.
The SIR has struck 13 crore names off draft rolls, putting the EC at the centre of intense public debate over its role in deciding who gets to vote — and who doesn’t.
HOWEVER, what nobody knew: through that same period, some of the sharpest questions were being asked from inside.
Out today, after months of work. Our #ExpressInvestigation 🧵

Hyderabad ASDD SIR deletion numbers are massive, far beyond what we could have imagined
Here’s just a teaser: in two Assembly constituencies alone, the number of deleted voters is higher than the total voter turnout in the 2023 Assembly election!
And this is only the beginning.
More shocking findings will be revealed tomorrow in our full Hyderabad analysis, followed by a detailed Telangana-wide analysis
The scale of these deletions demands serious scrutiny

For 100 years, this unregistered organisation has propagated and continues to propagate, the idea of a Hindu Rashtra in India.
Yet, in America, @DrMohanBhagwat says:
“If any Hindu thinks that there should be no Muslim in Bharat, he will not remain Hindu. If you call yourself Hindu, you must believe all paths are leading to the same goal.”
Quite a transformation in language when the audience changes.
The RSS will seemingly go to any length to mobilise funds from the Indian diaspora for its Vichar Parivaar that sows communal seeds in the society.
And anyone who believes Dr. Bhagwat’s three-nation tour and its carefully packaged message of “Universal Oneness” is about religious harmony should look a little closer.
Look at the role of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS’s overseas wing), in diaspora mobilisation. Look also at American Hindus for Engagement and Dialogue (AHEAD), a relatively new organisation that presents itself as an advocate for interfaith dialogue and an inclusive future with no apparent mention of its links to the RSS ecosystem, but has been founded by its members.
Behind the language of “Universal Oneness” lies a question that deserves scrutiny:
Why does the language of Hindu Rashtra at home become the language of inclusivity and interfaith harmony abroad?
Follow the network. Follow the fundraising. Follow the money.
This is why this organization needs to be registered.

What Rahul Gandhi did in Pune was a qualitatively different and fundamental kind of politics - most probably one leg of it. Likely that he has been trying to get to this for a long time. The attempt is to shape the way people think and feel rather than just the way they vote in the next election. More strategy than tactics, more conversation than exhortation or dictation. If it succeeds, it could lead to a more enduring kind of change. Like what Congress did during the Independence movement or what the reformers and Communists did in Kerala in the last century or what the Dravidian movement accomplished in Tamilakam.
