Harsh, I know, but really not my thing. So disappointing after the Police. Same with Style Council after the Jam.

One of my favourite shots from a few months ago. Biblical light over Bradford.

A cooler autumn morning in Brontë Country. Golden light and a distinct chill in the air.

🙄 So no Oakworth date again, then? In fact, not a single village on the list. How is that fair? Edinburgh, for goodness sake! They’ve got shows coming out of their flippin’ ears! And Norbloodythampton? Don’t get me started! I couldn’t be more speechless if I tried 😤

Yes, I was a bit of a superfan of both, along with Steeleye Span and Richard Thompson. Saw them all loads of times in the 70s & 80s.

Just 4 miles from Haworth (as the crow flies), Yorkshire’s largest boulder, the Hitching Stone marks the point where West Yorkshire meets North Yorkshire and Lancashire.

It’s not far. About 2 miles as the crow flies. Just West Yorkshire and Lancashire meet at Wolf Stones.

Absolutely. We hadn’t had any rain for over a month and it was still boggy as hell on the way there from Slippery Ford.
