I use to think the same but the problem is despite earning more and having more education then my parents did when they were my age I can only afford a portion of the assets they did due to inflation and rising house costs.

I mean my skills and income have improved but the declining economy and inflation has really lowered my standard of living.

I’ve never seen anyone excel at a subject that they were not passionate about. It’s a bit difficult spending half your waking hours on activities that don’t interest you like some kind of mindless drone.

while I agree that biological differences between the sexes result in fewer females to be inclined in the hard sciences, the argument that all women in STEM are nepo hires is simply disingenuous. Neurodivergent woman can be just as passionate about STEM as any male.

Isn't it more fulfilling to pursue a passion as a career? I always find those who only see their career as a means to income the most depressed and least productive.

You are wrong. No other country pays $30/hour to put chips in a bag? $40 on a public holiday. Singapore and Hong Kong pays ~$10 for the same job. The jobs at lower half of the Australian economy is getting paid way too much compared to most of Europe or any richer Asian cities.
