Growing the sport is a local scene thing not a pro tour thing and we should see the manufacturers make a shift in priorities this off-season

Starting DG in 1998. I helped "beat in" the original Richmond Hill course in Asheville NC. It was 100% the work of volunteers and their $$. Parks and Rec allowed the course, with very little parking, at the end of a residential street. The property was the old dump from 1890s.

Any parks department, by definition, is socialism

Hailey is awesome. She's reached out to my daughter when she started playing tournaments to encourage her. They occasionally play fortnite together now. Shes been nothing but kind and lovely to a Canadian kid shes never met. Hailey is great.

I'd add humble to the list of redeeming qualities. I've played through Big Jerm several times here in Charlotte. Always kind and even entertaining without a hint of narcissism. At times he was with other pros who had the antithesis of what Jerm exudes. Dude just has good vibes.

@LoneStarDisc doesn’t have good plastic. They already had some cringe moments with that ambassador program. Now this really cringe moment, which they don’t manage to paint any less cringe. These people don’t know what the hell they’re doing.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing in MN and the courses are fantastic. The money that goes into all parks and recreational activities is top

There’s SOOOOOO many options and while a lot of players won’t admit it, there’s not THAT much difference from one disc to the next. It’s a bit ridiculous.

I stopped buying discmania as soon as HOD bought them. They got saddled with debt from the other manufacturer purchases, and this is exactly how private equity firms destroy otherwise healthy companies.

My Bro in law went missing yesterday morning. Been a long two days searching woods and creeks and putting up fliers. Not sure I have many local followers but any share is appreciated. Friends if you need help, talk to someone

True. And probably the correct answer about who is in control.

Then how do you explain Sweden? I live in Sweden and we have none of that. It’s our democratic socialism, we have no problem with paying taxes because it gives us everything we need, like courses.

the IOC literally just published a study on this. If you actually care enough to comment on other peoples tweets about the issue, you should probably make an effort to be informed! bjsm.bmj.com/content/58/11/5…

It was 100 years ago today the one and only “Steady” Ed Headrick was born. Go throw a frisbee with a friend or rip a round of disc golf in his honor!

I might frown upon rainbow capitalism, but it’s still important. It is a nice reminder I’m not alone in this world, and that my existence has become enough a part of our society that it is deemed profitable for major corporations, that is, queer culture is in popular favour.

There is a legitimate argument that our money counts for more than our vote in the USA. Spend it the way you would vote.
