FYI, AI detected a paragraph from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein as 100% AI. So, write however tf you want and ignore the accisations, the readers will be able to recognise what a writer poured their soul into vs what was written by a word spitting machine.

the most nerdy thing you can do is write fanfics because not only you are deep into that specific fandom you are writing for but it also gets you to google and learn new words and synonyms and do research on a bunch of other topics just because you want an accurate fic

Please don't be afraid to comment on old fics 😭 I can't properly express how happy I am to get comments on my older works 🥹 I promise it's not weird, and honestly, radio silence might make us writers feel like our fics aren't that enjoyable. People need to accept that fanfic is its own genre and there are no rules. It's not a novel or a product to be sold, it's something someone made with love as a hobby and posted for fun. I don't know why we have to shade people who are enjoying writing for not writing perfectly.
