Sounds a lot like "sorry Henry I fucked up and didn't show basic reading comprehension skills" You've been abusive on this app to tonnes of people. I also have zero respect for clowns whose life mission is to put an innocent women a cage for half a century.

🚨NEW: An Islamic terrorist who was part of the Al Qaeda unit who beheaded British man Ken Bigley has been pictured free to walk the streets after being released from prison having served six months of a two-year sentence for illegally crossing the English Channel

Actually crazy expert witness reform is desperately needed in the CJS
“I had a case recently where it came down to identification. And a police officer was able to become an expert because he defined himself as a Super Recogniser. "That's a thing, a Super Recogniser, that he can recognise people more.” 🧵(1/2)

Tolerance for these pricks is zero now I’m afraid
Alleged former police officer 'Joe Whelan' has provided some laughs this afternoon but this doesn't bode well for his professional track record.. Here's Joe's handy guide on how not to prove a point: 1. Make a malicious allegation about someone you don't like;

Jesus fucking Christ 🤡
During making of #scapegoat for @channel5 I put it to Dr Dewi Evans how unlikely it was that #lucyletby could have ‘injected’ air into all her victims without being noticed. He showed me how easy it really was.

🚨NEW: Andy Burnham met senior figures from Manchester City at least four times, despite the claim that he held only one "significant" meeting [@billcurtis0]

Andy Burnham has just made an outrageous statement at PMQs, potentially one of the worst gaffes I have ever witnessed from a Prime Minister. He has presumed Joshua Kerry guilty of murdering Ann Widdecombe before he has even stood trial, live on national TV, for a global audience to witness. These were his exact words, “could I start just by recognising, with the charges that have been laid against the individual responsible for the murder of Ann Widdecombe” Read that again. He didn't say the individual accused of her murder. He said the individual responsible for her murder. Whatever your views on Joshua Kerry, the public does not know all the facts. That is precisely why we have criminal trials. A man is innocent until proven guilty. That principle applies to everyone, without exception. Yet the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has just publicly spoken as though a man awaiting trial has already been convicted of murder. For Andy Burnham to make such a serious error while discussing matter involving ongoing legal proceedings is deeply concerning.

Caroline Cheetham spent months on the Daily Mail’s Lucy Letby podcast telling the public the police case was overwhelming. At the same time her company was taking nearly £24,000 from the very same police force including payments for “publicity” made while the trial was still running. She never disclosed it. The Mail says it didn’t even know. She was being paid by the police while presenting their version of events as independent journalism. That’s not a conflict of interest. That’s a joke. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05… #LucyLetby #DailyMail
No joke! Caroline Cheetham was secretly working as a police publicist while pretending to be a neutral journalist covering the Lucy Letby trial There is no universe in which a journalist covering a trial should be secretly getting paid by the police force whose case is on trial

She was literally working as a paid police shill while pretending to be a journalist. And the @DailyMail are okay with this, even though they now know Caroline Cheetham lied to them. Disgraceful.

Channel Four News has an excellent podcast providing daily coverage of the Russell Brand trial. Bonus points: its podcaster didn't get caught secretly taking "publicity" payments from a police force she was meant to be covering neutrally as a journalist. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…

I could be grossly overthinking it but I wonder if his points around if one of a multitude of proposed causes of death is found unsafe the conviction must fall is part of a plan to force the CoA's hand on the Letby case. Could be overthinking though.

For anyone interested in the safety of the Lucy Letby conviction read this thread as it may have a significant impact on any appeal she may have.
1/ The SC is hearing the Ben Field case today and as envisaged Lord Leggatt is all over the CPS who have now conceded the weak swimmer point doesn't apply here. The CPS also rely on the #LucyLetby case and a point Lord Leggatt made (not about Lucy's case) may spell trouble for

standard.co.uk/news/crime/lu… Treadwell (2023) loves to diagnose without seeing a patient Loves to theorise about motives and stuff This is why he cannot reverse ferret because then he and his professor status would look dumb 🫠
