How does a local news ecosystem survive this ripoff?
Google pays pubs ZERO for their reporting—scrapes & aggregates it, spits out an ai-digest, & no one will visit originating site(s). Ad revenue will collapse & they go under.
Who is doing this, & how does democracy survive?
