Following Pope Leo XIV’s surgery and diagnosis, University President Father Robert Dowd asks all members of the Notre Dame family to pray for the Holy Father’s full recovery and return to good health.
Cancer touches nearly all of our lives, whether in our own health journeys or those of people we love and hold dear.
Through the intercession of our Patroness, Mary, we pray that Pope Leo and all those who undergo medical treatment for cancer and other health challenges experience the Lord's closeness and healing.

A valuable story. I wish bishops and religious superiors would acknowledge the many priestly and religious vocations lost to, or “paused” by, institutionally enabled sexual predation.
The discussion afterwards is stellar. The Church needs these sisters.

✅ This reservoir is a major feat of engineering, construction and planning.
✅ This reservoir added 55 billion gallons of water capacity storage in South Florida.
✅ This reservoir is one of the most important projects in the history of Everglades restoration.
💧🏅👏 The 10,000-acre Caloosahatchee (C-43) Reservoir is a key component of the joint state-federal Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a major achievement in our broader mission to restore the Everglades, expand Florida’s water storage capacity and protect important ecosystems now and for future generations.

Let's join the Pope in praying that everyone has access to clean drinking water. This is one thing we take for granted, but it's a real concern in much of the world.

With my 25th anniversary coming up in five weeks, I have a specific request to make of those of you willing to help me make a meaningful commemoration of it. I won’t have any party or celebration (other than a private Mass). Instead, I’m asking each of you to consider using whatever influence you have to get the Sisters of the Little Way magazine actively distributed and promoted at your parish, university/seminary, fraternal organization, deanery meeting, etc. Send me pictures of the distribution and I’ll post them with my gratitude. Alternatively, you could arrange discussion groups to listen to their Descent Into Light series, and send me group photographs. I won’t ask you for anything else until my 50th!
