If countries like Ireland have a "Safe Routes to School" programme, why doesn't Melbourne? Why doesn’t the state government value the lives of the most vulnerable road users—pedestrians and cyclists? – at Melbourne, Victoria

The government has not responded to this report let alone implemented a single one of its recommendations.
