Just a reminder that there is nothing wrong with being a masculine girl or a feminine boy.
There’s no wrong way to be either sex.
Drugs and surgeries are never required.
Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen.
I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn.
And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country.

Mark Carney keeps telling us we live in a “dangerous and divided world” without acknowledging how we got here. Because if he did, fingers would be pointing right back at him.
Leading the Bank of Canada under Harper. Leading the Bank of England. Advising Trudeau. Working in the very circles that helped shape the world he is now warning us about.
You would think there would be a little humility. Perhaps even some embarrassment before asking citizens to trust him with more power.
If these “leaders” are so capable, why do their warnings keep getting darker while our lives get harder? Where are the results of all this supposed expertise? We are told to trust their leadership, yet somehow never to question where it has brought us.
I have come to the harsh conclusion that we keep expecting better outcomes from people whose priority is protecting their own positions and interests. Helping citizens become strong, free and prosperous is clearly not the priority. Instead, we are left paying more for public services that fail to serve the public, while those responsible expect our trust and treat us as the problem when we question their failures.
So what can you do in this “dangerous and divided world”? Stop assuming the government will take care of you. Judge its competence by its record, not its promises.
Take care of yourself, your family and your community. Ask questions. Think independently. Do not hand over your judgment simply because someone in power tells you to be afraid.
Look around and ask yourself. Are our streets safer? Are hospital waits shorter? Are classrooms less crowded? Is housing more affordable? Are groceries cheaper? Are you keeping more of what you earn? Are repeat violent offenders being kept off our streets? Is public money being spent responsibly? Are those in power answering your questions or dismissing you for asking?
Then ask yourself whether you want more of the same and why those failing us every day should be trusted with even more power.

The 1977 case against Roman Polanski comes to mind. The famous Hollywood director was 43 years old when he was accused of six counts of raping a 13 year-old girl. Long before the days of #MeToo, the evidence was staggering and the accusations heavy, and included: "unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, rape by use of drugs, perversion, sodomy, a lewd and lascivious act upon a child under 14"… This sort of case could be — and SHOULD be — career-ending if proven true.
And it was true — Polanski did not deny having sex with the girl. He instead offered a plea, saying that while he did have sex with the underaged child, he did not drug her nor commit sodomy on her, hoping to lessen the charges against him. Polanski posted bail, and walked free. When he learned the judge was going to reject his plea and he might have to serve some serious time for his crime, Roman Polanski fled the country, leaving America and heading for Paris, France. He’s stayed there ever since, never again enterting America and avoiding countries that might extradite him. Polanski went on to direct many famous movies, such as the Acadamy Award winning The Pianist starring Adrien Brody.
There has been a lot of attempts over the years to rebuild Polanski’s reputation in Hollywood and rehabilate his broken image. One particularly infamous letter in support of him had a LOT of famous names signed on — Natalie Portman, for example. Darren Arronofsky. Woody Allen (of course!) and Harrison Ford, Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam… Monica Belucci, Martin Scorcese, Sam Mendes, the list is endless. Some of these names are disappointing. Others surprising due to the bare faced hypocrisy — Asia Argento being one of the actresses famous for bringing #MeToo to light, having accused Weinstein of abusing her. But when it’s a rapist you know and are fond of personally its different, isn’t it?
Many stars have come to Polanski’s aid in open letters and opinion pieces. Saying it is time to “forgive him”. Why such double standards? There was no forgiveness for others accused in the #MeToo era but being 89 years old and a beloved director, different rules seem to apply for Mr. Polanski. It’s why I cannot take Hollywood’s virtue signalling regarding abuse cases seriously at all.

A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life.
At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday."
He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy.
Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system.
He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting.
He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way."
The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.

Call me crazy (or bananas) but couldn't we maybe, just maybe, focus on creating the conditions which enable Canadians to have more kids instead?
With Canada’s population growth at a historic low of 0.5 per cent, Mark Carney is in a position to proactively lead the debate on restarting immigration, Adam Radwanski writes. thestar.com/business/mark-ca…
