🇺🇸 In 2014, Chicago woman Dawn Michelle Hunt thought she had won the trip of a lifetime.
She received an email saying she had won an all-expenses-paid trip to Australia.
At first she was suspicious, but after checking out the company she believed the offer was legitimate.
The trip included a stopover in China to collect prize documents and designer handbags she was told to take with her to Australia.
Then, at the airport in Guangzhou, security searched the handbags and found more than 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine sewn into the linings.
Hunt was arrested.
Chinese authorities later acknowledged she had likely been used as an unwitting drug mule, but the court still convicted her saying she “should have known better”
She was originally sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve, which was later reduced to life in prison.
More than a decade on, she remains locked up in Guangdong Women’s Prison and her family continues to fight for her release.

🚨Palm Beach County Republicans just endorsed MAGA Mike Caruso in their GOP voter guide on Instagram. That’s the same Mike Caruso arrested in August on five felony charges, including lewd or lascivious m*lestation, over the alleged abuse of HIS OWN GRANDSON.
Caruso has refused to suspends his campaign and says he intends to win his race.
The Palm Beach County Republican Party says it has a duty to campaign for nominees.
Protecting kids apparently comes second to keeping a seat.

Strange that the guy who provided email proof to the United States Congress that Howard Lutnick was still communicating with Jeffrey Epstein just happened to do Howard the biggest favor of all time by killing himself.
I never could understand why Lutnick laughs hysterically every time Trump is asked about the Epstein files. But I guess it’s because he knows that he is protected.
