Trans people are living through an era that mirrors every major civil rights battle. Whenever a marginalised group fought for dignity, opponents hid behind so-called "beliefs." When racism was challenged, they claimed (and still do) “free speech”. When homophobia was called out, they shouted about "child protection.” Now, gender-critical ideology repeats the same tactics—targeting a minority, then demanding freedom from consequences. The gender-critical activists claim their views are "reality," but the reality for trans people is brutal: misgendering, exclusion, denying our identities, and trying to strip away our rights. That’s discrimination - pure and simple. It’s as real and damaging as racism or homophobia. Wrapping bigotry in pseudoscience or moral panic doesn’t make it acceptable. Calling it a "protected belief" changes nothing. Trans people’s dignity and safety have been under attack for years - our existence is declared "controversial." Our rights are put on trial, supposedly to balance them against someone else’s feelings that they dont feel "comfortable." No other minority is forced to tolerate this abuse or told that targeted hostility is just someone else’s opinion. To be clear: Beliefs can be protected. Prejudice in action cannot. A fair society does not allow anyone to weaponise their beliefs to harm others. Civil rights law already draws this line. You can hold racist or sexist beliefs, but you cannot harass or discriminate. The same principle must apply to trans people. That’s why we must draw a hard line against gender-critical discrimination and harassment. This isn’t about silencing conversations - it’s about stopping real harm, happening right now, to a vulnerable marginalised minority at the heart of a culture war Trans people deserve workplaces, schools, and communities where our dignity is not up for debate – trans people are people. However, because of the manifestation of gender-critical beliefs, they frequently cross the line into outright discrimination - often in the workplace - often on social media - exactly on platforms like this. When translated into action, they are totally indistinguishable from racism, homophobia, or antisemitism. The gender critics won’t like that… sometimes truth hurts. @akuareindorf @polblonde @MForstater @cathydevine56 @jk_rowling @runthinkwrite @KateBMwriting @sharrond62 @DrHoenderkamp

No woman should ever see a penis in a locker room. If you don’t understand intuitively why, you have failed female socialization and these policies are designed to keep dangerous people like you out.
I'm NGL, I have no hope for c!s "allies". The comments on this post are fuckin awful. Apparently seeing a penis is the end of the fuckin world and will corrupt and traumatize people there. "I'm a progressive-" No you're not.

BBC Radio 4 - the most transphobic part of the institutionally transphobic BBC - were discussing the various UK bans on trans people this morning. Can someone tell me what the trans person said? @rburgessbbc @BBCr4today
If Bridget Phillipson thinks the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces gives "clarity" she must be living in an alternative reality where reason and logic don't apply. The Head of EHRC has conceded it's unenforceable. Lame and inadequate questioning by Anna Foster. #r4today 🏳️‍⚧️

It's 6:22 in the morning, and I am at my desk, a strong coffee at hand. Will she? Won't she? I dont know. For the vast majority, today is Thursday. It's too damn hot. The sports fans are revelling in the fact that an unknown British tennis player is storming Wimbledon, and that England are in the quarter-finals of the World Cup. For those who are interested in politics, the prospect of a bin beating Nigel Farage in a by-election in Clacton is God-sent. For trans people, it's a day of fear. As if they dont suffer enough - coming out to family, friends and work colleagues. Being immediately rejected by family members and friends. At work, it's different, love and affection, mainly from women. The men are more reserved. What are they saying behind your back? You have a good idea. Many years later, transition is complete. Name change, hormones, top or lower surgery, pain, lots of pain, loads of embarrassing moments - you know your friends - you remember the people you lost. A father, a partner, your once-best friend, who you shared so many amazing moments with, and now walks past you in the street with a blank “hello” or nothing at all. Being your true self costs. It costs a lot. But you're happy, and your only regret is “why in the hell did I not do this sooner”? And now your country is likely to add to that cost - the forty days are up. Bridget Philipson can sign off your fate. Rejection is part of your journey - likely going forward, some “jobs worth” may ask your sex; your boss will tell you that loo you have used for years (without any problems whatsoever) is no longer the loo you can use. Going to the theatre or cinema becomes a distant dream. To all trans people. I am with you today. I know the truth. You are strong, brave, amazingly brilliant human beings, and whatever happens, happens. Nothing can beat you …being you. Hugs. Steph x

So you want to stop us from transitionimg so we suffer?
It sounds horrible. That's why I want to see the sex change industry and its minions stopped from manufacturing any more cases.

But its totally acceptable to me to be forced to be someone im not, hide who i am, not have a childhood, miss school, posion myself, and be forced to live with the consequences all my adult life
Because stopping the puberty of 11 year olds is the absolute antithesis of a ‘mild’ intervention.

We ask this genuinely, because a lot of people who encounter us for the first time assume we’re something we’re not. What’s the one thing you wish more people understood about what LGB Alliance actually does? Tell us in the comments. We read every one. (And if you’re still finding out yourself then lgballiance.org.uk is a good place to start.)

Do sarah admits the grc did give access to spaces
Possession of a GRC now no longer gives you access to single sex female spaces. The Equality Act recognises only biological, not certificated sex. All a GRC now gives you is the right to lie about your sex on death. Which seems rather fitting. The GRA has had both its testicles removed. It has been thoroughly neutered.

One of the most bizarre things that happened over the last 15 years is how actual binary transsexuals are being labeled as ciis, simply because we simply want to live a normal life instead of being a genderfuck queer.

The transgender movement is built on exploiting an extremely rare medical condition that transsexuals are born with.

I've come to the conclusion that the majority of leftists on here are actually just narcassistic advantageous manipulators & abusers who see minorities as their property and most trans activists actively hate transsexuals and all they want is to provide space for the more cis TG.

One of the most perverse lies that transsexuals have had to put up with is having to pretend that somebody who doesn't transition is "just as trans" as we are, otherwise we get bullied by transgenders calling us insults like "truscum" and "elitist". To transsexuals, this is a painful condition that we've suffered from our entire lives. To many transgenders, it's some sort of status symbol or badge of honor so they can parade around their pronouns or display the 🏳‍⚧ flag. Many transgenders want the sympathy that comes with having to lead a difficult lives, without actually having to actually go through the difficult aspects of transition and SRS. Hence they invented this bizarre lie of "nobody is more trans, everyone is equally valid!" It's incredibly perverse and evil when you stop to think how far the transgender community has inverted reality. They LARP as the victims while making actual transsexuals who are suffering into the villains. If you want to know what real transphobia and ignorance looks like, this is it. Trans rights activists appropriated one of the most horrifying medical conditions and convinced the world it's something to celebrate.
Replying to @JennaJacobin
Being transmed is elitist, doesn't matter how you twist or turn it cuz believe that certain trans people are more valid (the ones that allign with you) than other trans people. Do i think you're any of the other things? No (idk your stance on gaza so that one's an idk)

No one wants you to be tortured. I’m truly sorry you feel so desperate. If you are male and find it unbearable to be male, you need help to reconcile yourself to your sex - and possibly to your sexual orientation. I sincerely hope you get the help you need. Drugs and surgery are not the answer. Take care.

This is pop-up trans hate front SEEN in Journalism . Who say trans people have unfair access to power. I guess this is why we are banned from everything, have been stripped of legal recognition, are persecuted by Lab, Con, Reform, and are being killed. @JournalismSEEN @wesstreeting @bphillipsonMP @BBCNews @itvnews @rburgessbbc
This will look very troublesome to those women fighting for the implementation of the Supreme Court ruling who don’t get this kind of access and government PR, and never have. It’s a poor look. Helen Belcher, on the left with a fringe, was a co-founder of Trans Media Watch. He’s indirectly and directly partly responsible for the industrial scale UK media capture, from around 2010 onwards, from which we are only just emerging. That media capture put him where he is today, arguably - excessive affirmation that ‘trans’ people are uniquely vulnerable gets him the government’s ear on ‘trans’ ‘hate’ ‘crime’. Apologies for all the inverted commas but it’s all activist jargon. Mridul Wadhwa (two away from Belcher) resigned from running a rape crisis centre when a review found he failed to protect women-only spaces and did not ‘prioritise the needs of survivors’. Very shocking that the government is this 👇proud to be working with him. Meanwhile Olivia Bailey has now told the Commons twice, and additionally an audience at a Stonewall event, that her government plans to ban ‘gender identity’ ‘conversion therapy’. If she can define gender identity she’ll be the only person in the world ever to so. In fact she’d be hard pushed to define ‘trans’. Retweeted by Bridget Phillipson’s team.

The trans community has been telling everyone for YEARS who these people are - and who’s next. Nobody listened. Gender Critical’s are NOT “women’s rights” campaigners. It’s a con. They are socially conservative, anti-abortion, anti-bodily-autonomy Religious Right cranks.
Murray: "Should women trust the FDA, which approved all 18 methods of birth control after a very rigorous look at the evidence? Or should they trust your statement that there are horrifying health risks to birth control, which contradicts that evidence?” Means: "I'm curious if you're aware of what the side effects of hormonal contraception are.”
