The short-term benefits of so-called "antidepressants" are only marginally better than those of placebo, and can be replicated in full by any of a number of nondrug means, with none of the toxic effects.
Long-term use causes worsening depression.
The effects of withdrawing from these drugs can be truly horrifying.
In a small percentage of users, these dugs can cause a state of agitation that can lead to violence and suicide.

SSRIs aren’t turning people into zombies. Untreated depression is. They’re among the best studied treatments we have for moderate to severe depression and anxiety.
Most people tolerate them well and many improve significantly when they’re used properly and monitored.
Real risks exist, including sexual side effects and a higher chance of suicidal thoughts early on in younger people, and those should be discussed clearly before starting.
But the loudest takes online usually skip the people who get their lives back and downplay how dangerous the illness itself can be. Balanced information helps patients make better decisions. Pure fear does the opposite.
Mining, petroleum extraction, construction, electric power generation, manufacturing, and transportation are overwhelmingly male-dominated.
If men disappeared, women would starve to death.

My struggles and my XXY diagnosis is nothing like somebody who is trans identified. Also trans identified individuals are all nearly either natal males (XY) or natal females (XX), with a tiny minority who may have a chromosomal aneuploidy, and atypical chromosomes doesn't prove why individuals are 'trans identified'. Society will not get rid of those of us who have a chromosomal aneuploidy, as we are not causing a problem. Why do they, (transgender people), always compare themselves to those of us who have a DSD/intersex condition? It's properly deluded and goes to prove they are hijacking those of us who have a DSD/intersex condition. xitter.cf/official_skips/status/…

''What about XXY people? Wait until they find out about XXY!'' This is the standard argument from trans activists and their friends, trying to score cheap points whilst misrepresenting those of us who actually have the chromosomal aneuploidy. Those of us who have XXY Klinefelter Syndrome are male, nothing else. I really wish they'd stop rolling out this argument, it's so 2021.

Just had my hair done and as usual, the moment I sat down, my stylist and I started terfing it up.
But this time was different.
First one woman joined the conversation saying she'd been banned from her women-only gym last month for complaining about a man (with a woman soul) parading around naked in the changing room, and the next minute the entire salon was terfing it up a storm.
There's been a dramatic shift in Canada in recent months. I feel it everywhere I go. Canadian women resent having men invade their spaces and have had enough of Canada prioritizing the rights of sex offenders over the safety and protection of women and girls. And now, crucially, more and more are not afraid to say so.
Because the only way to make insurance (i.e., the rest of us) to pay for this stuff is to pretend that gender dysphoria is a medical condition that doctors are uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat. Making this stuff available over-the-counter would be admitting that puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones are nothing more or less than recreational drugs.
That was easy.

I've worked as a landscape laborer. I do not see how those things are an improvement over a rake.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s insane that we allow two stroke engine leaf blowers to operate in residential areas? Why do so many otherwise sensible people not recognize the extreme externality of that noise? On some of the most beautiful days of the year it’s practically impossible to be outside without exposure to 75-80db of droning noise.

I was today years old when I found out that Tursiops, the scientific name for the dolphin, comes from the Latin word "tursio" and the Greek word "ops" and means "looks like a dolphin."

I take my cues from reality.

When gender feminists argue “But there are hardly any trans athletes” or “Trans people make up such a small fraction of the population” to defend males in women’s sports, prisons, and locker rooms, what they’re effectively saying is: “Yes, these policies are nonsensical and harmful, but so few women per capita are being harmed, so why the sad face?”
It’s just so obvious they’re deflecting in order to avoid having to actually defend their nonsensical beliefs, and yet their opponents keep failing to call them out on this. Just ask them: “Are you conceding that males in women’s spaces pose a problem, but only X amount of women have been assaulted or injured or denied opportunities, so it’s not such a big deal? Is that seriously the position you want to take here?” Give specific examples of women who’ve been assaulted or injured or denied opportunities and then ask them if they think these women’s experiences matter less than protecting people’s feelings.
I debated feminism with a women’s rights activist who refused to say what a woman is. Can you guess her response?

Part of the definition of a donkey is it is a four-legged animal.
What if you cut one of its legs off?
Then it's a donkey with one of its legs cut off.
Sheesh.
If this is the intellectual caliber of our opponents, this is going to be easier than I had thought.
