Alpha is the lowest letter in the alphabet. If the alphabet had a letter before A, this would be it. If it had two, this would still somehow manage to undercut them.
You write something that looks like JavaScript. It compiles to BASIC and assembly for the Commodore 64, Apple II, and TI-99/4A. Emoji become sprites (VIC-II, TMS9918, or lo-res plotting because the Apple II refuses to cooperate). 6502 and TMS9900. Real machines. Actual listings. MIT. No account. It can still change, break, or quietly ruin your evening.

Smooth scrolling on the TMS9918a is a little tricky - need to pre-scroll all graphic elements based on where they are in the tile map. Kinda got it working - now to do something with it! What do folks think could suit this kind of feature?

Browsing on the TV some of my old photos, this one came up of my year 1 student digs at University of Birmingham mid 1990.
The real Oric-1 is the same one in the photo and was 7 years then. Still in original working condition today!
