NASA's safety panel estimates ~22 Starship tanker flights to fuel one Artemis Moon landing. @elonmusk says that's "way too high." How many will it really take?

Books are for supermen, Übermenschen. All the rest is for Untermenschen. Love books. Read them. Try to understand what is within. That is the only way to stay human. The man is the middle of string between Superman and subhuman. The books make you what you are in the core.
You don't need books. You can get through life on vibes. Watch movies, listen to music, do stuff. Reading isn't for everyone even though book lovers say otherwise. If you want to be well educated, though, books are the way.

Thanks Raúl Parada and @CttcTech for putting Akida into a year-long wildfire detection simulation. Modeled result: a solar drone with Akida logged 4,200 patrol hours and ran 87% on sunlight. Simulation, and the paper is upfront about it. Link below. doi.org/10.1016/j.iot.2025.1…

Pete Bernard of the Edge AI Foundation asks, "Do you live inside a data center or do you live in the real world?" Computing where the data is born is right. The perspective behind the question is what's wrong, still assuming a center as if the data center isn't part of the real world. The edge takes its meaning from the data center it isn't and its promise gets measured by how much power, cost, and dependency it lifts off someone else's building. Models are still trained somewhere else and shipped out to be consumed. That is the old hierarchy with the arrow flipped, and it sizes something very large as a relief valve. No one wakes up and calls their eyes the edge. "Edge" and "data center" are both perspectives, each making sense only in relation to the other, and neither describes the reality. What matters is the kind of work and the kind of compute suited to it, held together as peers in a heterogeneous compute ontology. Neuromorphic silicon, Akida chips, that learn where they sit doesn't exist to shrink a data center. They run inside one as readily as they do on a crane, a hull, or a rail junction. In every case, the knowledge stays and compounds where it was made. Only the answer moves. The goal was never less data center or only edge. The other thing to consider here is that the edge so-called is becoming increasingly complex. So, twelve helmets for a combat unit are a distributed system all its own on the heads of a SEAL team. Tons of sensors, tons of data, tons of intelligence that require more than a mere edge device alone can supply. The complexities of these systems demand a different perspective about what edge itself means and calls for the very heterogeneous compute ontology Symphony, Akida, and GPFS provide. Run Akida anywhere. Run Akida everywhere. Soon, you won't be able to do without it. SymSEAL: kevindjohnson.org/#demo33 SymHelmet on a G1 Squad: kevindjohnson.org/#demo42
