There’s a serious conversation to be had about AI valuations. But apparently we’re going with “the women are too attractive to deserve their salaries.” Some companies are overvalued. That doesn’t make the technology a myth. The dot-com bubble burst. The internet kept going.
SF’s dating pool was once, as an Egyptian founder put it to us, “drier than the desert in my homeland.” Now, gorgeous women are flocking to the city. Why? As AI gets cheaper to build, companies flush with venture cash are hiring beautiful women to charm investors and clients. Enjoy it while it lasts, gentlemen. As @nicolewizman1 writes: paying hotties 6 figures to get drunk with your business prospects feels like a pretty good sign we’re in a bubble. 👇

“The systems of record that agents have access to will grow in importance, because you will want to make sure that those systems are governing the rules of the road for these agent swarms to operate in.” @levie on @CNBC discussed why enterprise ROI from agent swarms relies on the systems underneath them.

Here's a new AI app stack you can dive into this week. File systems coupled with LLMs become a powerful backend for apps. @Box ran a hackathon with @awscloud and challenged hackers to explore this new concept. I came out of this hackathon inspired and fired up for whats possible with this new stack. Read about it here 👇

Box AI Extract pulls structured fields from documents, and @OpenAI Decisions API routes them to the right workflow. In this demo, a COI arrives in Box through a File Request. Box AI extracts coverage fields from both the upload and the project requirements. The Decisions API receives that evidence and returns a typed route: request endorsement, specialist review, or ready for human review. A Box webhook triggers the whole process on document upload. The app creates a review task with context, adds the right collaborator, and writes extracted values and decision confidence back to the file as metadata. Box is where the documents arrive and where people review them. Watch👇

Box + MXC 🙌
🚀@Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC) provide policy-driven, sandboxed execution across Windows, Linux, and macOS. Box Mount runs inside that sandbox and maps a Box folder to a standard POSIX path, with two-way sync and Box permissions and governance applying automatically. In this demo, the agent reconciles fictional invoices, purchase orders, and payments using deterministic tools. It identifies six exceptions including duplicate records, a missing PO, an over-limit invoice, and unpaid invoices. The finished Markdown review and Excel exception workbook sync back to Box through Box Mount. MXC is the isolated execution layer, and Box Mount is the governed content layer. The result lands in Box, ready for human review. Demo ↓

Box Mount lets developers mount Box as a filesystem directly in any agent sandbox, so agents can work with files and data just like a person would. In this article, we show how it works with @DigitalOcean, @E2B, @OpenAI, and @vercel.

A sandbox agent shouldn’t need custom download and upload steps for every document it touches. With Box Mount, Box content appears at an ordinary path inside a @digitalocean sandbox. The agent works with the files there, and its output syncs back to Box for review. Demo 👇

We built Box Mount to allow developers to mount Box as a file system directly in any agent sandbox. As agents do more complex work, they need to be able to work with files and data just like a person would. The future is headless.
🚀@vercel Sandbox gives AI agents an on-demand Linux microVM with its own filesystem, network, and process space. Box Mount runs inside that sandbox and maps a Box folder to a standard POSIX path, with 2-way sync and Box permissions and governance applying automatically. In this demo, the agent analyzes 12 security questionnaire items against 3 approved policy documents. 10 answers pass with sourced evidence. 2 are flagged for human review because the approved docs don't support those claims. The finished Excel workbook and review list sync back to Box through Box Mount. Vercel Sandbox is the isolated execution layer, and Box Mount is the governed content layer. The result lands in Box, ready for human review.

Grateful for the partnership with @Box team on today Windows announcements! 🙌
Microsoft MXC gives AI agents a controlled environment to run code, with policies that define which files they can read, where they can write, and what they can access. This demo shows MXC running natively on @Windows, connected to governed business content in Box through Box Drive. Only approved files are staged into MXC before the agent runs. Box Drive makes the content accessible through the desktop filesystem. When the work is finished, results return to Box for team review. MXC enforces what the agent can do. Box provides secure, governed content management and brings the output back into the team's workflow. Together, they connect useful agent work with enterprise controls. Demo below ↓

Testing Jev since yesterday. Love seeing Khaneman's system 1 in practice. Such a great developer experience, elegant solution, and amazing launch. Well done @typesafeai! ✨ Stay tuned for a full article
🆕@typesafeai dropped Jev this week, a new frontier model optimized for decisions. We put it to work on an incident triage workflow in Box. Jev doesn't generate text. You send it state plus typed questions and it returns booleans with probabilities, enums, and scores in a single pass, so there's no output to parse and no schema to keep in line. The demo uses Jev to classify and route incidents. It pulls the incident report from Box, builds the state, asks whether it's customer-facing and how severe it is, moves the file into Escalate, Monitor, or Review folders, and sets a metadata template instance with the result. The answers comes back with a confidence estimate, so anything below threshold goes to Review for a human instead of routing itself. Check it out.👇

We just raised $4M at @lightsagehq , led by @nexusvp , to build the growth stack for internet’s newest customer: AI agents. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents can already discover products, compare alternatives, read documentation, install SDKs, call APIs and start using software on behalf of humans. Soon, they’ll increasingly transact too and that changes how internet companies grow. For decades, companies built growth infrastructure around humans. PLG helped humans adopt products. Now there’s a new journey to optimize: Can an AI agent discover you, choose you, successfully use you, and eventually pay for you? We call this Agent-Led Growth. Lightsage helps companies get discovered, recommended and used by agents → Agent Discovery - when and why agents recommend you vs. competitors → Agent Experience - whether agents can successfully use your APIs, SDKs, CLIs, MCP servers and agent skills → Agent Analytics - what real agents do when they reach your website, docs and product. and most recently agent-attributed traffic conversion. Companies including @firecrawl , @reductoai , @daytonaio , @rimelabs , @Tiny_Fish and @insforge are already using Lightsage to build their agent-led growth strategy and improve their agent journey. We’re incredibly grateful to have Nexus lead this round alongside these amazing founders and operators. - Former Salesforce CTO Steven Tamm - Postman CEO @a85 - Apollo CEO Matt Curl - DocuSign President Robert Chatwani - Former GitLab Head of Growth @HilaQu - Resend CEO @zenorocha - Firecrawl Co-founder @ericciarla - Daytona CEO @ivanburazin - Tinyfish COO @shuhao_friday - Adam Frankl and many more! As agents increasingly discover, evaluate, use and pay for products on our behalf, we believe every company will need to understand and optimize for the agent channel. That’s what we’re building Lightsage for. Huge thank you to my co-founder Sean Er, customers, early investors @AlchemistAcc and everyone who believed in us early. Honoured to be featured in @Forbes . We’re just getting started. lightsage.com
