There is no shortage of issues regarding FIFA. Let me start by clarifying what some of these are from an FA perspective, in particular that of Jordan going into a World Cup for the first time.
We are a small country with a minimal budget for our FA and had to deal with enormous hurdles. First, getting our fans into the USA: not all were granted VISAS, even though they had tickets -which we also know were sold at exorbitant prices. Secondly, we are being taxed by the US govt through FIFA for our participation. Money that should go to players and staff. This was not the case for those who played and set up camp in Canada and Mexico. But we happened to be in the USA so now we face these huge costs in taxes for having participated.
Thirdly we have been waiting for reward money for our players since December for the Arab cup in Qatar, which is a FIFA event. The money our team should receive for having reached the final has not been delivered yet, while at the same time FIFA brags about how many billions they have in reserve.
It is clear the problem really is with leadership. For months, FIFA has been refusing to help us on any of these or other matters- until it was verbally communicated to me during the World Cup that if I endorsed Infantino it would go a long way to helping our FA out.
We pride ourselves in Jordan in upholding ethical values. We did not endorse him before and certainly will not now. But the whole situation amounts to blackmail and we refuse to give in to that.

The recently exposed fake Nigerian presidential agency received a ₦1.3 billion allocation in the Nigerian national budget, a budget that included financing from the @WorldBankGroup. We are now reviewing whether U.S.-linked World Bank and other international funding may have been received by or benefited the alleged fake agency.
The individual arrested in connection with the alleged fake agency has accused senior Nigerian government officials, including Femi #Gbajabiamila (@femigbaja), President #Tinubu's Chief of Staff, of being a key figure in the alleged scheme and of requesting a total of ₦600 million in kickbacks.

Comparing a fake agency scandal - along with a governance breakdown involving official institutions - to 9/11 isn’t an answer, it’s a distraction.
9/11 was a catastrophic terrorist attack. What Nigerians are asking about is institutional accountability. Those are not the same conversation. When we blur them, we don't illuminate the truth - we detract from it. There's a difference between explaining a failure, and excusing one.

Back in 2021, during my coaching course at the National Institute for Sports in Surulere, Lagos, I approached this man and asked if he could give one of my boys a chance to trial with 36 Lion.
He told me to bring the boy the following morning.
The next day, we met him outside Legacy Pitch. He took one look at the boy and immediately said, "This one can't play football."
His reason? The boy still had a bit of baby fat.
I pleaded with him to at least give the boy a chance to prove himself. Instead, he responded that if he allowed the trial and the boy failed, he would have both of us arrested by the police.
I turned to the boy and encouraged him to take the opportunity regardless. But he refused. He said the comments were too disrespectful and humiliating.
That day, he went home, dusted off his certificates, started looking for a job, and never looked back at football again.
Sometimes, talent doesn't die because it isn't good enough. It dies because of how people are treated.

What happened yesterday is on me. One moment, one decision and it changed everything. I’ve replayed it over and over in my head and it hurts knowing I let the team and every single one of you down.
I know what this club means. I know what it means to fight for every point, every position, every dream. And in a moment where we needed composure, I made the wrong choice. There are no excuses for that.

1. I loose my job, the govt pays me 60% of my salary and help to find a new one
2. I have access to 3 years leave if I have a baby with a percentage of my salary and my job will wait for me until I resume.
3. Education is free in govt schools from primary to PhD
4. For every child I have, they get paid €250 monthly until they turn 18
5. I can buy a monthly ticket of €56 monthly and can travel all around the country via train (not high speed) and buses.
6. At any emergency, once you call the ambulance, it arrives within 20 minutes
7. Deffribilators and SOS access are available at every train station and high ways.
8. If I get stock in a country, I call the govt and they come to my support.
