25 years ago, our nation changed forever. Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and 55 military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to save others, and we stand in continued solidarity with the families who carry their memory forward.
We will never forget.
