Hackathons aren’t only for coders.
Design. Product. UX. Testing. Research. Storytelling. Someone still has to work out whether the thing being built is actually useful.
Bring a skill. Join a team.

Across the UK, people are already meeting in pubs, cafés and local venues to learn, build, ask questions and find each other.

Does your Bitcoin project belong in the room at Bitfest?
Can people try it, question it, understand it or meet the people building it?
If the answer is yes, we should probably talk.

BITCOIN SENT WITHOUT INTERNET USING APPLE’S “FIND MY” NETWORK
@callebtc has demonstrated sending bitcoin-backed Cashu ecash using Apple’s Find My network, turning nearby iPhones into an unlikely communications mesh.
A small device broadcasts encrypted data disguised as a Find My Bluetooth signal.
Nearby Apple devices pick it up and relay it through Apple’s network, allowing the recipient to retrieve the Cashu ecash message.
The sender’s device itself doesn’t need Wi-Fi or cellular service, though nearby Apple devices ultimately relay the data through the internet.
A wealth of knowledge and tools available at @AntidoteBTC while you wait from @TheSoloMiningCo #AmplifiedTunes @mullvadnet and @2140ART_ 💪🔥
