As an indication of how seriously we take nutrition and healthcare food, these standards will form part of the legally binding standards in the NHS Standard Contract as well as already being part of the NHS Long Term Plan . The Food Standards and Strategy Group will continue to monitor the implementation and impact of these standards with a view to supporting organisations to meet and exceed them and will continue to maintain a strong link with the NHS Food Review Expert Group

Female IMGs are 3 times more likely to be SAS/LED than consultants, whilst white British males are 2.5 times more likely to be consultants than SAS/LEDs. This data should trouble us more than it does.
