There’s so many weird tells and uncanny features, I’m not sure if these enthusiasts are just blindly optimistic or truly don’t see them?
These are all AI, I just don't know anymore.

I departed the courtroom feeling empty, trying to process the gravity of what I had just experienced. 1. Crypto has very real and colossal consequences. Judge Kaplan had also adjudicated cases involving: Trump, Prince Andrew/Epstein, and Al Queda terrorists. We’ve hit a scale where people’s life savings are on the line. It’s not just memecoins, fun, and games. Normalizing negligence out of ‘degen’ culture is reckless. If we want to power a global financial system bigger than the current day crypto-native casino, we cannot lose sight again this cycle. 2. Seeing the jury made me realize how far we have to go in educating and onboarding normal individuals. Blockchain UX is still a joke. 3. It’s unintuitive for humans to grapple with the true magnitude of finance at scale. Small % errors can lead to hundreds of millions in accounting discrepancies. 4. Bring business back on-shore through sensible regulation. Coinbase is a trailblazer in long-term thinking. 5. DeFi is the answer. Build trustless systems where accounting is open, transparent, and verifiable by external parties.

We are just a few months away from AI spinning up companies and services automatically, potentially running the entire thing. Books like Daemon and Neuromancer really don’t feel far off. On top of that we have govs building out full drone armies, doesn’t feel great lol

You may opt to *care* about this due to the attempt at making "distribution of code" illegal. It can be a slippery slope obviously. I know many folks get touchy about *exploit code* for computer vulnerabilities just the same re: "free speech", and similar concepts cc @EFF

This is the way. Infosec shouldn’t deal in fear, uncertainty, doubt (FUD). Infosec should deal in facts.
The Signal thing was interesting - had a number of folks reach out based on RUMINT because they heard from someone else. It’s nice folks reached out but I pinged a few folks and didn’t see any credible evidence or examples of it.. I stayed away from the hype train to not worry anyone or put in panic for unsubstantiated claims while keeping a close eye on it. Turns out that was the better play. TLDR - be careful on generating panic in security when there isn’t any data to confirm it.
