The same people who will be demanding "respect" at Cenotaphs here tomorrow, were happy enough to hurl sectarian abuse today as they passed a memorial to 5 innocent victims of Loyalist terrorists.
They will not be remembering the Ormeau Road innocent victims at their Cenotaphs tomorrow, but we won't forget them.
🟢 BAN SECTARIAN MARCHES
The contrast between @Tracey_utv interviews with Michelle O’Neill on the Garvaghy road and Carla Lockhart’s interview yesterday was extraordinary. Michelle faced relentless, at times seemingly agitated questioning, while Lockhart enjoyed a calm, almost friendly chat with time and space to make her points.
So where is the impartiality? Why the relentless scrutiny of one politician and the comfortable platform for another?
Is Tracy Magee applying the same journalistic standards to both, or are viewers witnessing selective scrutiny?

If only they had the same determination to find and prosecute the murderers of Sean Brown ....30 officers on a case of people standing on the road ....🙄

This is what Stephen Grimason’s quote in the article refers to: the culture, the way they looked after their own. It was a Protestant BBC for a Protestant people, and still is, to a lesser extent of course, but when it comes to issues like Drumcree, they show their colours. Pt 3

How many man hours and evidential packages have they put together into every illegal flag flying with its intimidation, bonfire site on private property and hate parade with loyalist paramilitary displays?... I'll wait

@JonBurrowsMLA reckons he can see a member of the IRA army council at Stormont but the same guy couldn't see collusion in over 20 years as a cop. It's amazing how selective some unionist politicians can be with their eyesight

5-star commentary from Michael McKernan on todays @StormontSources podcast.
His evisceration of @StephenNolan and his @BBCNolan show in this clip, is a thing of beauty.
Earlier in the podcast he also destroys the Bryson/Lockhart strategy. Cairns didn't know where to look.

It was "almost certain" that dissidents were among protesters and it was "possible" they had access to firearms.
It is "possible" the guns could have been used to attack police.

So let me get this straight. Unarmed police negotiators were sent into a crowd where it was believed some people had guns and were prepared to shoot police officers? Mandy, surely you asking questions Or are these questions only asked when they suit the narrative? 😂

Loyalist paramilitaries have continued operating for decades, with feuds, shootings and intimidation, yet nobody demanded Stormont collapse over it. Why is the alleged existence of the PIRA suddenly grounds to bring down government? Where's the consistency?
