Feedback is essential for mastery, but we have to be mindful about what we take to heart and what we step over. #DaretoLead

Our friends at @ArtsBrookfield helped us hide these two Blue Bears in downtown Denver. Can you find them? #ArtDropDenver #IMAGINE2020
I agree. Sometimes you need to outrun the inner censor -- by writing first thing in the morning or just getting those thoughts and ideas down on paper FAST.
The easiest way to kill creativity is to judge your own work as you produce it.
Creativity thrives on curiosity and flexibility. Quality control depends on precision.
Resist the temptation to edit as you create. Save revising for a separate phase.

I love this idea. Can't wait to read it.
I'm so excited to share this, y'all. I'm writing a book about the last 200 years of my family's history (seven generations of Black women since 1819)! Roseland will be released by @belt_publishing in Spring 2019. Read about it here: bit.ly/2ifEhDW. 😊 #BlkTwitterstorians

Don’t just follow people because you agree with what they think.
Follow them because you’re intrigued by how they think—and how they make you think.

Creative collaboration is THE BEST. So much prefer working with a creative partner. Do you have at least one in your life? Count yourself blessed. If you don't, go find one. Now.
This is sorely needed. Congratulations and thank you, @dafna_m!

If you define success in terms of winning and losing, you’ve already lost.
The higher you climb, the more your success depends on making others successful.
The most rewarding way to live is to find as much joy in others’ success as you do in your own.
