You don't store or move data in the control plane. You don't control from the data plane. Mine the state, not the data.

The global Small World Network formed by interconnecting all parties can be modeled as a ring of light encircling a planetary world. The topology brings structure where it previously did not exist. Mesh networks are susceptible to application level flaws. Bitcoin brings sanity.

It not only works across the ISP peer boundary, I believe, ultimately, this is what will eventually convince traditional ISPs to adopt MP-BGP extensions supporting Source Specific Multicast for the FFxx::B Global official IANA IPv6 allocation, and therefore supporting multicast.
I designed the entire BSV Layered Multicast stack to be able to be implemented by any Internet Autonomous System (ASN; ISP, network operator, business, govt). It works across the internet peering boundary. Nothing is a walled garden. Compete with me. github.com/lightwebinc/bsv-m…

We could have 100+ nodes at 1B TPS easily. It's 2.6 TBits/second, approximately. Importantly, with multicast distribution (such as being tested on @1BSVNET right now), that data arrives O(1) to all participants. Small World Network doesn't necessarily mean small number of nodes.

The 1BSV Layered Multicast solution is now interfacing directly with Teranode, and it didn't require forking the code. I've built teranode-bridge. It uses the same functionality in the node, but importantly, leverages the efficiency of the network fabric. github.com/lightwebinc/teran…

MonkeyCast is the way.
- JungleBus - GorillaNode - BananaBlocks All done. Coming soon: GlorillaCloud & MonkeyCast... Infrastructure for a scalable future. Now would be the time to mine about it, apes. 🍌GorillaPool.com🍌

Why pay for transaction delivery for your services? So you don't have to run the nodes required to try and scour the entire network for every last gossiped transaction. Multicast can reliably deliver everything, to all of your global infrastructure, the instant they are posted.

I'm still trying to work out delivery incentives including how many KB/MB will be included gratis. This seems like the way to encourage use. One can stuff a lot of transactions in, for instance, 1MB.

Yes, like the opportunity in building the @1BSVNET. A single miner may earn from work sometimes, but the network earns its keep 24/7/365, the margins are higher, and the potential customer base as well as the vertical integration capabilities are unparalleled. The network scales.

Teranode has little chance of scaling past single-digit MTPS without upgrading the network that connects miners/apps together. P2P over public internet is insufficient. Multicast is the way forward. 1bsv.net @1BSVNET is the network that will scale it to billions. github.com/lightwebinc/bsv-m…

Overlay subscriptions use topics, just like existing overlays. It handles all 3 existing BEEF transaction types. This enables send-once, many-overlay synchronization with no further coordination required at the network level. Overlay consumers pay for delivery. Sends are free.

I will be talking about Multicast with @ProjectBabbage tomorrow at 9AM USA Pacific time on the Metanet meetup. I'm going to discuss the @1BSVNET Layered Multicast Network and open source solution. See you there. MetanetMeetup.com
