He's waving at a "crowd" that isn't there.
Because it's all fake.
All of it.
His entire so-called presidency is bullshit.
And it's fucking embarrassing.

Trump engaged in a thoughtful, extended conversation with—nothingness. He suddenly stopped, waved, saluted, offered greetings, and chatted for a bit with the empty space. 😁🤭
The cameraman deliberately zoomed out to show that there was absolutely no one to be seen for hundreds of meters in any direction.
Apparently, Trump received a visit from the very same "invisible person"—the kind of encounter he had previously mocked Joe Biden for supposedly having.

Smart move, Canada! 🇨🇦
Mark Carney confirms Canada is reducing its reliance on Elon Musk’s Starlink.
Because national security shouldn't depend on a billionaire's mood swings. 👏

Now comes the penalty for Europe’s years of naivety and dependency.
But, Daddy.
„US threatens EU with “devastating” measures over restrictions on SpaceX and Starlink.
The US Ambassador to the European Union, Andrew Pazder, has warned that European companies could face harsh countermeasures from Washington, according to a report by the *Financial Times*. The warning comes as Brussels pushes forward with plans to limit the access of American companies to certain segments of the European market.
Pazder’s warning followed a proposal by the European Commission to reserve a portion of the frequency spectrum—which enables smartphones to connect directly to satellites—for European companies. This would restrict the frequencies available to Chinese and American firms, including SpaceX, the operator of the Starlink satellite network.
When asked whether European companies should fear countermeasures, Pazder told the *Financial Times* that they should “consider that this could happen and that the consequences for these companies—given the size of the American market—would be absolutely devastating.”

Hi @elonmusk , we’ve conducted the most comprehensive study to date on tax unfairness in the United States.
We found that you, like your fellow billionaires, pay a lower effective tax rate than the average American.
So if you really want to help the American people, I have a better suggestion than charity: pay more taxes. 🧵

So Mr. Trump has the right to cut the Starlink signal to Europeans.
And at the same time, Europeans don't have the right to promote their own services?
Time to wake up, Europe.

European companies face “devastating” retaliation from Washington if Brussels presses ahead with plans to restrict American rivals such as Elon Musk’s SpaceX from parts of the European market, the US ambassador to the EU warned in an interview with @FT’s @BMoens and @HenryJFoy.

🇺🇸🛰️🇪🇺 Elon Musk, Monopoly, and Political Power. Does History Ring a Bell?
In 1911, the U.S. Supreme Court ordered John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil monopoly broken up under antitrust laws. America recognized that allowing one businessman to accumulate enormous control over an essential industry was dangerous.
Now, more than a century later, look at Elon Musk, SpaceX, Starlink, xAI, and Tesla. (Soon, he wants to merge some of these to create a global, technocratic monstrosity.)
We’re watching one billionaire accumulate extraordinary control over satellite communications, technology that governments, militaries, businesses, and entire countries increasingly depend on.
And now, according to the Financial Times, the U.S. ambassador to the EU is threatening “devastating” retaliation if Europe restricts SpaceX from parts of its market.
What the hell? Since when is the United States government supposed to act as the enforcement arm of a billionaire’s business empire?
This is not just about market dominance anymore. It’s about economic power turning into political influence, and potentially using government power to protect private business interests.
Rockefeller had Standard Oil. Musk has Starlink, SpaceX, xAI, etc. Different centuries, different technologies, but some disturbingly familiar patterns.
This is supposed to be democracy, not a damn technocracy run by billionaires.
I am all for free markets and capitalism with social democratic guardrails, just like in this case (don’t confuse that with pathetic kumbaya democratic socialism, which will most likely lead to damn socialism, and communism is next), but I am also against monopolies, political influence, and intimidation in business.
Enough is enough, FFS!

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

If we cannot be 100% certain that a technology will be available when we need it most, we cannot trust it at all.
That’s how trust works. Either it’s absolute, or it doesn’t exist.

Since Europe is funding Ukraine and the US is not, Europe must take control of negotiations. Trump should not be dictating any terms when we pay the bill.

Let's say you drive a Tesla, and you're fleeing from a murderous madman bent on killing you. You and the madman are both traveling at high speed, when suddenly Elon Musk throttles the ability of your car to go fast. Then Musk blames it on Trump. That's what they did to Ukraine.
