Launching today, the Windrush 100 network brings together hundreds of organisations and individuals to commemorate the Windrush, building on the success of Windrush 75. It aims to deepen our public conversation about the past, present and future of race in Britain.
Applications open for Windrush Day 2027 grants of up to £25,000 to celebrate and preserve the legacy of the Windrush Generation.

At @hackneycouncil Windrush Day event, I had the honor of leading a 1 of silence to remember the Windrush Pioneers we have lost. We paid tribute to Nellie Louise Brown who passed away at the remarkable age of 111 years old. It was a poignant moment with family members present.
