The reason I’ve spent the past couple years building MegaETH, through the highs and lows, is simple: I believe it’s Ethereum’s answer to Solana and other high-performance L1s that chose centralization to win on speed.
and to be fair, it worked. in my eyes, over $100B of value rotated out of ETH because users couldn’t get the performance they wanted. I remember being shocked that Solana, despite being more centralized than Ethereum, felt far more performant than Base.
MegaETH changes that. we’re showing performance on mainnet that no L1 will ever achieve. it’s only possible because we inherit Ethereum’s security.
