Business lobby groups are calling on the government to increase the migration cap to combat an intensifying skills shortage. There are hundreds of thousands of jobs going, but many more visas are stuck in the queue for processing. @annajhenderson

We got to celebrate my Mum’s 92nd birthday today but are overwhelmed by the the passing of Jane Garrett - no matter what side of government you support, you want honesty, integrity, principled governance - Victorian’s were so lucky to have her. Thank you Jane!

The AHA & Brewers proposal relates to draught beer only. That is, beer poured from a keg into a glass in pubs, clubs and restaurants. The aim is to encourage people back to places they can more easily socialise in a regulated, safe setting, whilst creating employment.

Australia also has the fourth highest beer taxes in the world. The Government increases the beer tax goes up quietly each six months, but the Government never tells anyone about it.
"Australia has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world, and we spend those tax dollars on the stupidest things imaginable, like corporate welfare and subsidies." ~ * @_davidlimbrick * ~
