My Instagram account with 80k followers was just suspended. How cowardly are Meta and this saffron regime of India? Before this, my Instagram account with 103k followers was banned in India by order of the government. This is a government stealing votes, cutting eligible voters — but they would rather sit and dedicate their resources to taking down political accounts and banning content. This phenomenon, of digital repression—if you will—is happening at an unprecedented level under the current BJP-RSS regime in India.

Complete out of context. Reformers backed by the state are selling out Maharashtra’s temples, letting Muslims replace true custodians.

If a rapist were handsome, women would start simping over him. The same women who hate religion and old-age religious priests, calling them frauds because of their obese, protruding bellies and unappealing looks, would suddenly start praising and romanticising the very same kind of priest if he had a handsome face, curly hair, and a well-groomed appearance. Suddenly, they would find religion fascinating. Looks matter, apparently.

Mat kar lala ye sab. Amrutrao Peshwa a chitpavan was the Diwan when Holkar vs Pune happened so how was it a anti brahman pogrom. It was a political campaign not a caste based battle.
A Brahmin, that too a Marathi Brahmin openly glorifying Holkar is a textbook example of Stockholm syndrome. Yashwantrao Holkar’s 1802–03 Poona campaign k*lled over 40-50,000 inhabitants which was followed by Mass ®@pes much of it was perpetrated against Brahmins

1. "There were no Marathas at Panipat"
>Untrue. Most of the soldiers/sardars who died at Panipat were Marathas and other Marathi castes, while almost all the Brahman generals/vakils/bakharkars were Deshasthas.
When Sadashivrao took over the Northern campaign from the hands of Raghunathrao, there was a factional divide at Pune. All the sardars on the Northern front were either Marathas or Deshasthas (who supported the Raghunathrao faction), whereas the Kokanastha Chitpavan sardars were focused on southern India (Mysore/Nizam). Consequently, the commanders accompanying Bhau toward Panipat were primarily Marathas (such as Shinde, Kharade, Pawar, Wagh, Paygude, Bhapkar, Darekar, Nimbalkar etc.) or Deshasthas (such as Purandare, Vinchurkar, Hingne, Chandrachud, Mankeshwar, Rethrekar, Kashiraj etc.)

Even in this case, Balaji Vishwanath was only trying to protect a maratha sardar under him by the name of Piraji Raut.
It's just sad to see layman historian's like Kulkarni publish random unsourced bakhar gossip & letters with no original to push an unfounded narrative.

Selectively reading & misinterpreting the context of the words is a habitual way of modus operandi by Sadakhagguvanshi Nizamputrakharata's. Jh@tavkhao's themselves were illegitimate sons of Nizam, later they were just another bhikmanga lunbattas begging infront of The Peshwa's.
