I’m weird.
11 over 7 over 5 over 3. What?! A 11:7:5:3 polymeter. Each limb is playing a unique grouping, or time signature, until they all resolve and sync back together. The graphic notation (in thread) illustrates all the notes played. Circles are notes played and each line is a subdivision. The colored circles illustrate when each grouping repeats. All together 1,155 subdivisions. Over all this the piano is doing a 35:33 polyrhythm.
🟢= piano grouping of 33
🟡= toms grouping of 11
🟠= snare grouping of 7
🔴= kick grouping of 5
🟣= hi-hat grouping of 3
🔵= piano grouping of 35

My latest video. Emma McGann’s “Tired Eyes” with drums & bass added by myself. Fun project to put together and learned some new things in Logic along the way.
