Super cool new areas for autoresearch
Introducing Magnetar from Microsoft Research, the first zkVM that is: (1) general-purpose (RV64), (2) post-quantum from standard hashes alone (no curves, no lattices, no Poseidon), and (3) built for recursion.
Despite its conservative security, it is the fastest zkVM: 7.2–8.7 MHz on a laptop, 10–39× faster than existing zkVMs across 15 workloads! An optimized version reaches 9.5–12.8 MHz.

The weaponization of the Palestinian cause is the leading reason they have no state and no agency over their own future.
Until they are not used as some sort of pawn and weapon to distort history and destroy sovereign nations (which is increasing in Europe and America), their condition will not meaningfully improve.
The only alternative their supporters propose is quite literally the genocide of Jews. It is no wonder their cause seeks to complete the goals of Nazis till this day.

If the Arabs had won the 1948 war, there would be no Israel, but also no Palestine.
Just a slightly bigger Egypt and a slightly bigger Jordan and they'd have found something else to hate and fight about.
This is yet another thing I’ll never forget. @Columbia has blood on their hands.
Never forget: @ColumbiaSJP’s dormant Instagram account suddenly came back to life 3 minutes before the October 7 attacks began, saying "we are back!"

Today on the 3rd anniversary of October 7th I want to reshare this video
Before Israel responded — while they were still clearing Hamas fighters inside Israel
Thousands gathered in Sydney to cheer on Hamas’ terror chanting “Gas the Jews”
October 7th was one of the most horrific events of my lifetime
But this video was the moment it became clear how subverted the West has become
And therefore how twisted the narrative would be

Palestinians armed with assault rifles, RPG's, and lighter fluid killed several multiples more Israelis in one day of euphoric murder than Israelis armed with fighter jets, one-ton bombs, and tanks managed to on even the bloodiest days of their offensive. But that's not all.

A moment that captures how we all felt on October 7.
After clearing Kfar Aza of Hamas terrorists, a team of Israeli commandos entered a family’s home and found fresh challah rolls laid out on the table, waiting for Shabbat morning.
One of the soldiers broke down in tears, realizing the family would never gather at the table, join together, and eat them.
Three years of unimaginable loss and pain, but never forget how this war began.

The "international sympathy" that smug assholes claim Israel squandered after October 7 is exactly what you're seeing in the mealy mouthed comments by various leaders today: Two sentences about Israel and three paragraphs about Gaza.
“the Palestinians have served as the tip of someone else’s spear. But the tips of spears tend to break when thrown, and when they do, it’s evidently easier to blame the wall they hit than the person who threw them. Thus, the external embrace of the Palestinian cause once again reinforced the self-serving instinct to the postwar erasure of prewar emotions, and the accompanying turns from certain victory to impending loss to the final resting state of the purity of victimhood.”
Today the paywall was lifted (temporarily?) on my article from three years ago “Ecstasy and Amnesia in the Gaza Strip.” It was my attempt in the first weeks after October 7 to understand a current event as a historical one. ideas.tikvah.org/mosaic/essa…
