FYI, I AM qualified. I have a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, trained as a therapist, and a fitness trainer with copious nutrition background at the cellular level, via my premed undergraduate education
I’m particularly interested in the research that itemizes the micronutrients that effect different mental illness diagnoses.

Lots of women train often but have never learnt how to train hard.
Under-training, whether it’s from confidence, ignorance or mentality is the most common theme I see.
You’re stronger than you think ladies.

We know garlic is excellent for health. Adding it to the diet now (cold-flu season) is excellent for overall health and immune support.
✨It is packed with antioxidants
✨Helps support detoxing
✨Is an anti-fungal
✨Reduces inflammation
✨Promotes powerful immune support.
But...garlic breath? 😊
FYI: A recent study from Ohio State University shows that if you have garlic breath or bad breath in general, eating yogurt rids the mouth of the sulphur-based compounds completely that cause it.
Ohh the places we can go when someone Believes in YOU!
I was once a troublemaker in class.
But one day, I had a teacher finally look beyond the front I was putting up. She encouraged me to realize my potential.
Educators change lives, and I'm honored to celebrate with them tonight at @MdPublicSchools Teacher of the Year Gala.

📣 New Study: Drinking dark tea daily slashes diabetes risk by more than 25%.
One dark tea that I highly recommend is Pu-erh Tea - very powerful in fact, probably the healthiest tea outside of green tea. *All teas are health promoting.
Pu-erh Tea is a uniquely fermented tea with many health benefits.
Some of the Benefits:
-Prevents Fatty Liver
-Lowers Blood Sugar
-Aids Fat Loss
-Reduces Harmful Cholesterol
-Protects Brain Cells
-Promotes Gut Health (by increasing a very healthful gut bacteria - Akkermansia)

Advanced glycation End Products (AGEs) is inflammation in action.
When sugars combine with proteins in the body, a chemical reaction occurs that creates inflammatory compounds - changing the nature and function of the tissues in the body - not just causing wrinkles and sagging skin but affecting all tissues inside the body as well.
Additionally, AGEs can cause insulin resistance leading to weight gain, accelerated aging, diabetes and more.
How to Prevent:
-Avoid Sugar 👈 Important
-Cook at lower temperatures
-Avoid processed foods
-Consume a diet rich in antioxidants - such as blueberries, olive oil, coffee, tea, spices
-Avoid seed oils (vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil, soy oil)
-Stay hydrated
-Sleep well
-Use Supplementation such as carnosine, B-1, B-6, PQQ, R-lipoic acid, taurine.

Diets that are chronically deficient in choline will result in fatty liver (though it’s not the only cause), regardless of how healthy the remainder of the diet is.
At least 25-30% of the population has fatty liver – probably more – and the rates skyrocket in the later decades of life. Even young people aren’t spared.
Check this out:
A 2021 study found that 13.2% of 12 to 17 year olds have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), 18.7% of 18-24 year olds, and 24%(!) of 25-30 year olds.
