In native mode, the agent can still use the local environment available to the process—files, tools, CLI utilities, and applications—without sending GUI input to your active desktop.
It's a standard MCP server, so it can work with MCP-compatible agents such as Claude ,Cursor, and Antigravity.
Inspired by Tencent's BrowserSkill and built around a painpoint.
Computer use shouldn't mean giving up control of your computer.

Battery life matters. We just introduced dynamic Performance Profiles.
Switch Vanta to "Very Light" mode and background threads will throttle down to 1fps while idling.
Switch it to "Very High" to run 144fps buttery-smooth ambient animations.
Opus 5.5 is our first model since we called for pacing the frontier. As with previous models, it was tested by external evaluators before release, including METR and Frontier Design.
On our most comprehensive alignment test, it achieves the strongest score to date.
Vanta is becoming:
system dashboard + process monitor + ambient engine + productivity workspace + extension platform
all in one keyboard-driven terminal UI.
Rust + ratatui. ~3 MB binary.
v0.10.36 also brings adaptive rendering:
2fps when idle → up to 60fps when things are moving
while keeping it lightweight.
