The Bush administration, under Condoleezza Rice, strong armed Israel into holding the 2006 Palestinian elections and letting Hamas, an armed terrorist group, run despite Israel’s clear objections. I’ll say it again, under clear objections from Israel! Hamas won. Years later Rice admitted the obvious: allowing a terrorist organization to participate without first disarming was a massive mistake she would never repeat. Israel was right. The world ignored it. The consequences have been paid in blood ever since.

LIQUIDIA $LQDA ADDS ABOUT $39 MILLION OF SALES EVERY QUARTER. A RULING WAITING SINCE JUNE 2025 COULD CHANGE THAT:
Eleventh of the 30 names on the Hypergrowth Len5: Liquidia LQDA at $68.43, -$2.52 / -3.55% on Friday. The Morrisville, North Carolina company sells one drug, Yutrepia, an inhaled powder of treprostinil - a medicine that relaxes the blood vessels of the lungs - for two forms of high blood pressure in the lungs. It launched in June 2025 and was profitable by its second full quarter on sale.
The verdict: Liquidia is growing in a straight line, not a curve. The percentages make the launch look like it is slowing; the dollars say it adds the same amount every quarter. That pace is the whole case, and one court decision can change it.
Revenue by quarter:
- September 2025: $54.3M
- December 2025: $92.0M, +69%
- March 2026: $132.9M, +44%
- June 2026: $171.7M, +29%
The growth rate fell by more than half in six months. The new dollars did not: each quarter added $38M-$41M. June-quarter sales were about 19 times the $8.8M of a year earlier, a number no launch repeats, because it started from almost nothing. Liquidia's stated goal is more than $1B of revenue in 2027, about $250M a quarter; at $39M of new sales a quarter, that pace is two quarters away.
It is profitable on the way: June-quarter net income $74.7M, 43.5% of sales. The price leans on the line holding - about 50 times the past year's $1.37 a share of profit, but about 23 times the June quarter's 74 cents counted four times. When those 74 cents missed the 81 cents analysts expected, the stock fell 18% in two days, from $88.05 on August 11 to $72.10 on August 13.
The rival is the risk. United Therapeutics (UTHR) at $475.45, +$3.24 / +0.69% on Friday, sells the same medicine as Tyvaso, in its own powder inhaler and as a nebulizer mist. June-quarter Tyvaso sales fell 4% to $452.6M, and United blamed competing drugs in part; Yutrepia's $170.4M is already more than a third of that. United is asking courts in Delaware and North Carolina to block Yutrepia for one or both uses. The Delaware case, tried in June 2025, turns on a patent running to 2042 that covers treating PH-ILD - lung blood pressure tied to scarring lung disease. Liquidia says outcomes range from no change, to a royalty, to an order stripping that use from its label. No decision had been announced as of Friday. United Therapeutics is on none of the six Len5 watchlists: its total sales slipped 2% while it defends its biggest drug.
How each Len5 reads Liquidia:
- HYPERGROWTH - STRONG, 11th of 30. Hunts very fast growth on a business big enough to prove it. Quarterly sales went from $8.8M to $171.7M in a year, with profit, and the dollar adds are not shrinking; the near-zero start flatters every year-over-year figure. What would knock Liquidia off the Hypergrowth Len5: a quarter adding well under $39M, or a ruling that takes PH-ILD off the label.
- QUALITY - PARTIAL. Wants real gross profit, a solid return on the owners' stake, and debt no bigger than that stake. The numbers pass: Yutrepia cost $10.8M to make against $170.4M of June-quarter sales; first-half profit $127.6M against $44.7M of equity in January; $176.1M of debt - financing from privately held HealthCare Royalty, repaid in fixed quarterly payments through 2033 - against $195.1M of equity on June 30. Stability fails: that debt was four times equity in December, and 2025 was a $68.9M loss. What would make Liquidia a clean fit for the Quality Len5: several more profitable quarters with debt staying under equity.
- MOMENTUM - NOT A FIT. Hunts a price near its one-year high with short and long climbs agreeing. About three times the $22.45 of a year ago, but 26.9% under August's $93.61 high and 11% below three months ago. What would put it on the Momentum Len5: a climb back toward $93.61.
- GROWTH - NOT A FIT. Hunts profit growth the price has not charged for, on years of profits. Liquidia has three profitable quarters after losses in 2024 and 2025. What would put it on the Growth Len5: profitable full years in 2026 and 2027.
- QUALITY-VALUE - NOT A FIT. Hunts a business rivals cannot easily copy, bought below its worth. Its edge over an older form of the same medicine is what is in court, and 50 times past profit is no discount. What would put it on the Quality-Value Len5: a ruling that settles its right to sell for both uses, at a price nearer what it earns.
- DEEP-VALUE & SPECIAL-SITUATIONS - NOT A FIT. Hunts a sound business priced below what it earns in good years and bad. The ruling is a special situation, but there are no bad-year profits to price against. What would put it on the Deep-Value Len5: a court loss that sinks the stock far below what the other use, pulmonary arterial hypertension, earns alone.
- INCOME - NOT A FIT. Hunts cash handed back to owners. No dividend; spare cash services that financing, $28.0M in the first half. What would put it on the Income Len5: a dividend or buyback paid from cash flow.
Next: September-quarter results, tentatively Monday, November 2, not yet confirmed by Liquidia; analysts expect 94 cents a share. The number that decides it: new sales added against about $39M. The risk carries no date - the Delaware decision can land before that report or after it.
Liquidia has shown it can add the same slice of sales every quarter. It has not yet shown how much of that slice a judge lets it keep.

Oil exports through Hormuz reached a seven-day average of 13.2 million bpd on Wednesday, compared with around 17 million bpd before the Iran war disrupted traffic, according Kpler data.
Saudi Arabia is exporting 6 million barrels per day of crude oil in September, which is the same as the 2025 monthly average.

MILITARY SUBMARINES WON'T BE ABLE TO HIDE MUCH LONGER.
QUANTUM IS THE REASON.
A submarine's steel hull bends Earth's magnetic field, leaving a disturbance that trails it through the water. Navies have hunted subs with magnetometers since World War II, but the sensors were so weak an aircraft had to pass almost directly overhead to notice.
Quantum magnetometers change that. Atomic and superconducting sensors read magnetic fields at sensitivities classical instruments can't approach, the same technology that just navigated a Pentagon aircraft across the Pacific with GPS off. So subs navigate by dead reckoning, inertial sensors that drift a little more every hour, and periodically they have to come up, expose an antenna, and risk detection to get a fix.
For seventy years that tradeoff, hide or know where you are, has been the central vulnerability of the most expensive weapons on earth.
Quantum sensors end this as a quantum gravimeter reads Earth's gravitational field, which has a unique fingerprint at every location and passes through water like it isn't there. Match the reading to a gravity map and the sub knows its position, at depth, forever, emitting nothing, receiving nothing, never surfacing. Nothing to jam, nothing to spoof, nothing to detect.
Last month a ship navigated the Coral Sea with GPS off on a quantum gravimeter, one nautical mile accuracy, the sensor sitting in a passenger cabin with no stabilization rig. The UK Royal Navy is running Infleqtion's quantum clock and navigation trials. The Pentagon's Farseer program is funding maritime quantum gravimeters specifically.
