ALT We are ZIP IT Productions - a new theatre company that believes in championing women and allowing their voices to be heard on and off the stage. To raise money for Women’s Aid, we are running a workshop where participants will be able to come together, meet other creatives and take part in a workshop to explore the themes of our next play Unzipped.
ALT Unzipped is a dark comedy that focuses on the portrayal of women in the media. Synopsis: There are two rules on the Isle of Might, 1) the town council decides all and 2) only women are allowed in the town council. Comedic, dark and satirical - Unzipped flips the script on our patriarchal society and makes us question what would happen if men were treated like women are.
