"Get on your knees and pray, we don't get fooled again" Whether Mr Mutt with his own hands made the fountain or not has no importance. He CHOSE it. He took an ordinary article of life, and placed it so that its useful significance disappeared under the new title and point of view – created a new thought for that object.

I’m outraged that you and your accomplices in government harbored this criminal in our state. ICE officers were conducting a targeted enforcement operation in the Bronx, New York, to arrest a criminal illegal alien from the Dominican Republic with a prior criminal conviction for grand larceny, and multiple prior arrests for assault, robbery, possession of drugs, and weapons possession. He has associations to the Trinitarios gang, the same gang who brutally shot a CBP officer last year.

@TishJames got her ass kicked by a smarter, more competent, and more experienced LAWYER. Was an amazing hour. Oh, and @errollouis is not a real journalist. Should probably let him go before the gubernatorial debate. Thanks, and good night.

All of this for twenty blocks below photo, will soon be ripped to shreds to build a cement park twice as wide with a double bike lane! Most New Yorkers don’t want this. The Authoritarian City & DOT don’t care. Vote NO on all 5 ballot proposals in this election to keep democracy!

Here's MY reason for my anti-bike bias: Since at least 2021, Communist nonprofits like @OpenPlans, @StreetsblogNYC and @TransAlt, funded by Lyft's Mark Gorton and Soros money, have declared open jihad on the working- and middle class in New York City. These bicycle jihadis have captured lawmakers in City Hall and Albany, and regularly flaunt the capture of @NYC_DOT by the "transformation" and "reimagining" (operative language used by Communists, by the way) of NYC's entire street grid. They have taken over community board meetings, turning them into complete farces by pretending to be members of the neighborhoods whose streets they want to gentrify. NYC's Department of Transportation have turned busy, once-normal roads that carried traffic safely into anarchic civil messes that have caused MULTIPLE accidents, and even more insane traffic congestion. Brooklyn's Flatbush Avenue has become the most recent example of a street being used as a cudgel against productive NYC residents, as businesses who were ALREADY struggling along these roads have closed permanently. It bears repeating, ladies and gentlemen. These are COMMUNIST groups and nonprofits. They have destroyed the streets of New York City because to them, streets are for "people, not cars." THEY are "the people"; the Robert Moses of their own story. These bike jihadis scoff at the fact of regular people owning cars. To them, it is an aberration; some accident that a person who opens and closes doors on a New York City Subway train for a living would EVER be able to afford a reasonably-priced car to get to and from work every day. To the bicycle jihadi, it is nonsensical that a cop or firefighter with a wife and kids would EVER drive to his precinct in Manhattan. If Hitler, as @brivael wrote earlier, sacrificed the individual to race as Stalin did to class, organizations like Streetsblog, Open Plans et al sacrifice the individual to movement. NO individual should be able to move for themselves outside of the State's control, and so the bicycle jihadi feels it is absolutely WORTH the chaos of a single-laned, bus-forward Flatbush Avenue if 50 drivers are taken off the road and put on a bus. Private car ownership is objectively PERSECUTED in NYC, and not only are the bike jihadis proud of it, they continue scoffing at people who don't succumb to their agenda. "Just take the train", they sneer. "Same machine; different fuel." The end goal, of course, is the complete and total subjugation of the individual, as is the case with ALL Communist, Fascist, "Social Democrat" and "Democratic Socialist" movements. Control. By an all-powerful, all-encompassing State that orders EVERY move you make, every step you take, and EVERY breath you breathe. And until you understand this about the urbanist movement, you will NOT save yourself or your country.

A must watch on France and a warning to the U.S.
American an European friends, I’m so ashamed, but you need to see what France has become. Don’t make the same mistakes we did. The only peaceful solution is to send them back to their countries of origin they love so much. We cannot coexist. It will be them, or us.

“hope you can share this because awareness is really needed right now. For many girls, wearing the niqab involves genuine struggle and pressure. What’s frustrating is that there are accounts run by guys pretending to be women, coming in to glorify the niqab and act as if it’s a passionate, ideal choice for everyone. Their goal behind this tactic is to push a fake, sugarcoated image and convince people that no one is struggling or being forced. This manipulates girls and silences anyone speaking up about real struggles. We need to be smarter than letting anonymous accounts shape public opinion with fake stories."

The bike lobbyists are really mad because this bicycle rider had to pay attention and then slow down to a stop for a truck making a turn. Just like literally everyone else who uses the road has to do sometimes. The entitlement is off the charts with these people. This is a city, and in a city we all have to deal with certain minor inconveniences. Yet these people invariably throw a tantrum when presented with any slight delay for completely normal city things, like the presence of other humans who are not also riding bicycles.
How @emily_lip almost got "right hooked" by a truck driver in Queens last week — days before a girl was killed by a truck driver in Manhattan on Friday.

It's not just that Nikole Hannah-Jones' daughter will have her pick of universities because of this piece. I have no reason to think NHJ wrote the piece with that in mind, but there's something else I doubt she had in mind which will, nevertheless, happen anyway: the piece will earn her another Pulitzer.

I have some thoughts! Nikole Hannah-Jones interviewed me at the height of woke-1 to champion and virtue signal her “fight for every black child” and disparage and dismiss my fight for all NYC public school students to enjoy the rising tide that lifts all boats of academic rigor and meritocracy. She thought my support of the Specialized High School Admission Exam, the SHSAT, was racist. I thought her school politics were deeply misguided, and well, quite racist. Unlike Hannah-Jones I have nothing to walk back. I knew then what she has just figured out that her identitarian race-based grievance project would not fix anything. And in fact, it has hurt all public school students. Not just in NYC—her Magnum Opus of racial grievance, The 1619 Project, is taught in schools across the country and its reasoning is used to dismantle and stop the creation of the kind of high school that her daughter ultimately chose—the one that finally taught her algebra. NYC Public School students score lower on all academic metrics now than they did when her daughter started school—and we tax payers pay more for it. Enrollment continues to plummet while those in charge dumb down standards and hide results. So much of that is because any solution that challenged Hannah-Jones' race-baiting—endorsed by The Times and Democratic leaders alike—was verboten. Like Hannah-Jones I have a HS junior. My two older kids have graduated from NYCPS and are in college and my youngest is in NYCPS elementary school. I have qualms with parts of their education but also many success stories. Can you get a great education in NYCPS? Yes. But you have to fight for it. And insisting on the schools that grade math homework is a start. Knowing what your child is learning and mastering is a non-negotiable. Standardized tests help with that, but are a starting point only. Blaming phantom racists instead of understanding the role parents play was and is a lazy cop out. There is still an effort–alive and well right now-to dismantle great schools like NYC’s specialized high schools because they use standardized admissions tests. The effort still relies on the same failed logic that Hannah-Jones has peddled for years. She insisted that kids like her daughter who did not score high enough on a test to gain admission were the victims of racism. But she refused to acknowledge that poor Asian kids whose parents had NONE of the resources that her daughter enjoyed (or should have enjoyed) (English speaking parents, resources to pay for prep classes, knowledge of how the system works, etc) were not racist oppressors—but kids willing to work hard and apply their smarts with parents that prioritized subject mastery and took the time to make sure their kids were actually learning. Her daughter is right. She deserved much better. But it is not the cauldron of racist grievances that Hannah-Jones still cannot let go of that failed her daughter. It’s her daughter’s parents that did not figure out for NINE YEARS that their daughter was not learning enough. New York City Public Schools should be among the best in the world because we have so many incredibly talented, smart and hard-working students that could and should learn more by being challenged more–and that means sorting kids into cohorts where they can rise to the level of their abilities and willingness to work. In other words “screening”—the exact project Hannah-Jones fought against for so long and which she has now relied on to rescue her daughter’s education. You’re welcome Nikole. Your daughter’s chosen high school would not exist but for parents like me who fought so hard to keep screened schools.
The daughter is correct. I called this at the time.

🚨JUST IN🚨 Microsoft has signed a legally enforceable agreement giving Randi Weingarten's far-left teachers union oversight of AI safety and privacy standards in classrooms NATIONWIDE. A watchdog group sent a letter to @SenTedCruz demanding an investigation into the deal's impact on MILLIONS of American students. Last year, Senator Cruz forced Microsoft to cut ties with a group caught censoring conservative media for students. Now it's time for him to hold Microsoft accountable AGAIN. The future of our country is too important to ignore. SOURCE: Daily Wire

I genuinely despise what the “free Palestine” wanker cause has done to everything. It ruins everything it touches, it’s the Trojan horse of the caliphate and many people who champion it are too stupid to understand, and the others are Muslim.
