Got the many-to-many workouts-exercises being actually used:
- loading workouts with exercises from the DB into a nice struct
- showing the list of exercises in a modal on clicking a workout
Next... I can finally start wiring up sessions that feed from the actual data in the db
Another day, another table.
Have hover and clicking, but nothing happens on click yet (only a log message). I want to show a modal with the list of exercises in the workout. Will give me a reason to play around with modals some more.
Experimenting with adding a bit more details to a table.
This one reads from a DB, but also has a header and diff colors: yellow for table's componentes, white for the data.
Debugged the navigation bugs. The menu is taking shape and is actually useful now. I can go and look up the colors and go back to the start screen.
Next: I can start wiring up the database, reading it and putting stuff on screen and navigate to it.
The UI that moves and shifts under your cursor... There's a special circle of hell for devs and designers (and their manager) who think this is fine to release to users.
I'm thinking about building an ebook reader (software, not hardware) that's designed to... serious reading. Like, reading text books or tech books. A lot of simple features that would help are missing in kindle and ibooks.
Don't underestimate a man with a grudge. He might be also well connected, well funded and well followed.
Angry gets shit done :)
It's a beautiful thing to see @dhh spearheading Linux-on-Desktop. Triggered by @Apple being dicks.
