A lot of people are in for a rude awakening over the next few years.
Many people mistakenly still believe that AI is still just a novelty chat toy or a new type of Google search. Those of us on the frontlines are seeing what is possible and where things are going. You need to adapt. I beg you: please do not allow your ego to get in the way. Do not make your vocation your central identity. Things are going to change radically and quickly.
God gave you talents. You have a responsibility to cultivate them. AI doesn't replace your calling, your discernment, or your willingness to work. When used well AI can help you apply your gifts at a scale that was previously out of reach, but only if you don't let your ego get in the way and remain stuck in the past.
A small business can accomplish more without a massive budget. A parent can spend less time on busywork and more time with the children. Someone with an idea can build what they once could only imagine.
You donβt need to worship the technology, but you also donβt need to fear it either. You need to understand it and put it to work in service of things that matter.
Be humble enough to learn.
Be disciplined enough to practice.
The promise and vision that we have for AI is to get more of your life back and do something worthy with it.
Lean into that.

I was put on a domestic terrorism Quiet Skies watch list before I was even charged.
My crime?
Illegal picketing.
Ten months later, at Christmas, they raided my home.
The IRS was weaponized against me.
A year later I was incarcerated.
A year after that I was divorced, and the Department of Licensing tried to take my real estate license.
Two liberal fathers.
Two cousins.
A best friend.
Gone.
That is what they took.
Here is what God gave back.
A redeemed life.

Love and support of a woman
Dozens of new conservative friends.
Love that stays.
Hope. Charity. Light.
I learned to love myself.
I am loved for who I am, not for pretending the old nastiness never happened.
