you need to become so convinced of what you’re capable of that temporary setbacks stop making you question your entire future. not in some delusional “i can do anything” way. but in a way where you genuinely trust yourself to figure things out, learn what you don’t know and keep going when things get difficult.
most people abandon their goals mentally before they’ve even given themselves a fair chance. one failure makes them question their ability. one rejection makes them reconsider their direction. one bad month makes them believe they’re not meant for something bigger.
and that’s the real problem. you cannot build an extraordinary life while constantly looking for reasons to doubt yourself. confidence comes from knowing that even if things don’t work out the first time, you have what it takes to try again, adapt, and get better.
so stop treating every setback like a final verdict on your potential. believe in your ability to make things happen, then back that belief with consistent action.
be so committed to the outcome that failure becomes feedback, not a reason to quit.

A bit embarrassing but I have a hard time maintaining close friendships.
I would say the big lesson is that friendships are like flowers. You need to be the one to maintain them. Send them a quick message. Actually making the time to make plans without saying stuff like "Maybe" or "One day."
If that's something that you can't do because you have other priorities. That's fine. Life is opportunity cost.
But from someone that hyper focused on certain goals in life, one of my big regrets is not taking the time to connect more with others. It's still something I'm working on.
It's never a waste of time if you are having fun.
