There has never been and there will never be another player that matches his talent, drive, ability to handle competitive chaos and golf IQ. What a joy it has been to cover him over the last 20 or so years. – at Kensington, London

When I hear people say the right foot/heel should stay on the ground through impact (MORAD followers especially) I wonder if they ever watched the best ball strikers in slow motion. This is George Knudson-legendary ball striker- with a move that is ubiquitous amongst the greats. – at Scottsdale, AZ

Hear, hear.

Since 2012, while dealing with countless physical issues and fencing w/ Father Time (age 36-45) Tiger Woods has an 11.7 win % In that same time span and in their primes, the win % for: Dustin Johnson is 10.6% and Brooks Koepka is 5.4%...only Rory Mcilroy’s is better at 11.8%

Tiger comebacks November 30th 2017 One of the most important swings of Tiger’s career, having played only twice in the previous 830 days and having confided to a few that he was done, he unleashed this bomb off the 1st tee at the Hero World Challenge. Physically... he was back.

Another reminder of the ephemeral nature of stardom/change at the highest level. In the last 30 yrs there is: Ballesteros, Beck, Lyle, Mudd, Finch, Duval, Gosset, Weir, Mahan, Watney, Kim, Harrington, Cink, Donald, Tseng and Ko to name the obvious ones. Longevity is the exception

He is not only preternaturally talented as an athlete but he is articulate, insightful and forward-thinking. We applaud athletes for their honesty but Rory deserves a standing ovation for taking a stance in support of those who don’t have his talent, which is 99.999% of us.

I can’t remember a more lackluster Sunday at a PGA tour event. It was as if a pall had been cast over the day by what had happened the day before. This is the definition of a hollow victory and the fact that @PointsBetUSA refunded bets made speaks to the inequity felt by many.

Just watched the first half of the Tiger doc on HBO & every time Earl Woods offered a prophecy about the future of his son, the hair stood up on the back of my neck. He was a flawed but loving father who produced a flawed but transformative athlete. Life is messy but beautiful.
