What you get • Acquire / release with leases - several consumers can share one pool without stepping on each other. A lease TTL takes care of consumers that crash. •Exec with streamed output - run a command in a container you hold, or POST /container/run to run one in whichever container is free and hand it back afterwards. •Clean containers on demand - every container gets a primary snapshot at creation. Release with reset=true and the next consumer starts from the pristine image, no new container needed. •Snapshots and forks - checkpoint a container, restore to it, or fork it into a copy with its whole disk. •Custom image - deploy a zerops.yaml with prepareCommands like to any runtime, then POST /container/rollout to replace outdated containers without touching anyone's work in progress. •Two flavours - swarm@1 (Linux containers, seconds to create) and swarm-vm@1 (VMs, own kernel, for code you don't trust or that needs Docker).
