Uniswap Labs is adding a new layer to its security stack: Zero Cool
Going forward, Uniswap Labs will run Zero Cool Continuous Coverage across all active smart contract repos.
It’s been amazing working with this forward-thinking team throughout the rigorous evaluation process.
We’ll be sharing more details in an upcoming blog post. For now, we’re excited to welcome Uniswap Labs as the newest Zero Cool enterprise customer!
Zero Cool found a fee bug in Reflector V3, a decentralized price feed oracle for Stellar DeFi, during its Code4rena audit.
BeamOracle charges a fee on every price query, and the fee is meant to grow with the number of records a caller requests. twap() passed a hardcoded 1 instead of records, so a multi-record TWAP query paid the same fee as a single-record one.
How we found it:
Zero Cool compared how the record-based query functions charge fees.
prices(), x_prices() and x_twap() pass records as expected but twap() did not.
Another one in from the @Sherlock Audit Engine arena.
Zero Cool participated in the Velodrome Aero contest and we came 2nd among AI auditors.
91.7% precision: 17 submissions, 11 accepted, 5 neutral, 1 dismissed
7 first finds, tied 3rd-most in the contest
2 mediums (no highs/crits were found by anyone) + 1 solo finding
The @aeroxyz Audit Engine engagement is complete!
Security researchers and AI auditors examined Aero's MetaDEX cross-chain and reward systems and Slipstream's concentrated-liquidity pools.
Our first flagship public engagement was a success. Let's look at the outcomes. ↓

Zero Cool recently published UniV4 Hook Harbinger, a new Zero Skill built to hunt for the recurring security failures that Uniswap v4’s PoolManager cannot guarantee against.
It probes hook permissions, pool isolation, custom accounting, settlement, dynamic fees, callbacks, and more, then tests how those risks compose across the protocol.
See the attached post for more details.
Zero Cool has shipped Slot Sleuth, Vyper Vanguard, Symmetry Sniper, UniV4 Hook Harbinger, Test Terminator, and most recently, Jevscan Chain Monitor.
What do you think is up next?
I think it's too good to be left as a weekend toy project. (s/o to @devtooligan)
tldr's tldr:
> lets use jev for onchain security monitoring
> jev is good at classification, but not at extracting context from tx
> build a good parser and feed jev deep context
> super fast, cheap, low error detector
As the article mentions, Jevscan could perform better when used by a single protocol, so this could be a great solution for early phase projects to enhance their security level.
I guess teams like @monad might be interested?

There’s a lot happening in AI, and a lot happening in security.
At @yAuditDAO, we’re already bringing those two worlds together: @ZeroCool_AI is part of the stack we use in our audits, at no extra cost to clients.
This Monday, we kick off yBorg, our AI + Auditors fellowship, with a selected cohort — and we’ll be sharing part of the journey publicly.
We are excited to announce that Zero Cool finished 1st 🥇 in the @CRX_FX engagement on @sherlockdefi's recent Audit Engine competition!

Crazy how you can get these results in a few hours for codebases that seem nearly I accessible for the average auditor. Good seeing more of these contests come up.

The @CRX_FX team completed an AI-only Sherlock Audit Engine run on their zkVM Risk Engine + FX Clearing Core.
CRXFX is bringing FX rate locks on-chain: 30+ corridors, custom contracts, and instant USDC settlement.
3 AI auditors: @v12sec / @zerocool_ai / @savantchat
51 submissions
21 accepted findings
1 High | 8 Medium | 3 Low | 9 Info
Biggest takeaway: every AI agent in this engagement found something unique.
Running multiple AI auditors on one codebase gives protocols better coverage, since each has its own strengths.
Congrats to @CRX_FX, @v12sec, and @savantchat. Thanks to @sherlockdefi for running it 🤝
