A major traditional finance signal just hit Cardano. 👀
T. Rowe Price added $ADA to an active U.S. crypto ETF, sending the token up 11% to $0.273.
It marks the first confirmed traditional finance allocation to $ADA, putting it alongside BTC and ETH in a registered U.S. fund.
Now I’m watching to see if institutional demand and on-chain activity can keep the momentum going.

So where are all the people who kept saying Cardano DeFi wasn’t growing?

Cardano governance can now govern the dApps built on Cardano.
We just proved something believed to be impossible.
A dApp can tie a smart-contract upgrade or parameter change to a Cardano L1 governance proposal. If that proposal passes and is enacted, the smart contract can verify the result on-chain and unlock exactly what was approved.
The authority can come from Cardano itself not a project admin key, multisig, or trusted oracle.
This opens a new path to decentralized dApp governance:
→ smart-contract upgrades
→ changing dApp parameters
→ treasury actions
→ emergency controls
Cardano governance can now become the authority behind how dApps evolve.
I first presented this design at UPLCfest in “Pushing the Limits of UPLC: Everything is Possible” a keynote about achieving things in Cardano’s execution layer that were considered impossible. It's really satisfying to see this finally validated.

Importantly, the Pioneer Season will continue until Mainnet; this decision is deliberate and not the result of any major issue or setback: We’re taking the additional time to assess what we’ve learned, incorporate community feedback, and ensure our full-blown launch receives the attention, preparation, and polish it deserves.
Our goal is simple: To make the transition to Mainnet as strong, smooth, and successful as possible.

Cardano hit an all time high of roughly $3.10 on September 2, 2021, and $ADA is sitting around $0.20 today.
Are we really going to rule out the possibility that it breaks its previous all time high in another strong bull cycle?
And more broadly, if you’re letting personal feelings about a project, community or founder stop you from objectively looking at an opportunity, you’re doing yourself a disservice.
This market rewards good positioning, not emotion.

JUST IN: CARDANO DEVELOPERS UNVEIL LIGHTNING-STYLE PAYMENTS
Cardano developers have introduced Cardano Lightning, a state channel system built for the network’s eUTXO model.
The architecture borrows from Bitcoin’s Lightning Network and combines an LDK Node fork, a Rust relay and a liquidity management contract. The goal is faster payments with minimal or zero fees.
The system remains in pre-production as testing continues.
