Welcome @mitchellh to the team! We're honoured to have you as an advisor on our mission to help developers get paid to code on their passion ♥️
I've joined @polar_sh as an advisor! I think it benefits everyone for devs to have more options to get paid to work on their passions, to support upstreams, and for users to have more confidence/transparency in the software they're supporting/purchasing. mitchellh.com/writing/polar

Recently bought a Pimoroni Cosmic Unicorn and have created a driver for it in TinyGo! Here's a small writeup of how it was done, and how the board works: polar.sh/zegl/posts/tinygo-o…

We work in @ladybirdbrowser now 😍 What a fantastic milestone – it warms our heart that polar.sh looks great in the most exciting open source browser being built today.
🔴 Ladybird browser update (January 2024) youtu.be/9FAzaKPvB2k Another solid month of steady incremental progress on ⁦⁦@ladybirdbrowser⁩ 🐞🌍 Although we didn’t have a big standout feature this time, we ended up improving all kinds of little things! 🤓

I've decided to personally pledge $30,000+ to open source developers via @polar_sh over the next 3 months. It's a meaningful chunk of savings. But without OSS, I wouldn't have become a self-taught developer which I'm eternally grateful for. I want to give back ♥️ How & Why? 👇🏼

Super excited to unveil and open source Polar today (in private alpha)! Polar gives open source maintainers a better and funded backlog based on what drives the most impact within their community. polar.sh Github ⭐ github.com/polarsource/polar

I thought it was going to be a post about rebasing in git, since its called "Extremely Linear Git History" and it sort of is, but in a way more fun way.

I got and setup a bunch of Zigbee sensors over the summer vacation... So now not only does the sweat running down my back tell me that it's too warm at home, my Grafana dashboards does to!

Been hacking together an ipad app for a while to manage lights/smart things in the apt. New feature: Interactive 3D render to manage lights! Tap a room for on/off, swipe on a room for brightness control.

Fridge temperature vs buying beer 🤔 (based on real bank data, which explains the slight delay)

This is literally (not literally literally) what the database for all Codeball data (raw, processed, web data, etc) looks like. With the addition of a "type" column.
