TLDR of the rocket: • 28M tall, 2M diameter • SSO orbit (orbit where there is eternal sunshine) • none of the rocket is reusable, their approach is to make cheap, non-reusable rockets. they 3D print their engines. timeline of @isaraerospace : • 2018: founding • 2023: raised $165M series C in preparation of first launch • 2025: first launch failed 18 seconds after launch in an explosion • 2026: raised $313M series D at an alleged $2B val in preperation of second launch • today: successfully launched from Norway. payload was only 5 university cubesats. However, in future missions the rocket has payload space for 13m^3, which is aprox space for 17 starlink satellites.
