Football For Everyone | Our First Inclusion Session
A brilliant morning by Portadown Football Club as we held our first Inclusion Football session.
This morning wasn't about scores or results - it was about smiles, confidence, making friends and enjoying football in a welcoming environment.
It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, having fun and simply enjoying being part of the club.
This is only the beginning. We want Portadown FC to be a place where everyone feels welcome, everyone gets an opportunity and everyone feels part of the Ports family.
A massive thank you to the players, families, coaches and volunteers who helped make our first session such a positive one. ❤️

Funny when the DUP talk about "unity" in elections, they actually mean @uuponline @TUVonline should step aside to give the DUP a clear run..... 🤔

A reminder that PFC sensory bags are available to borrow free of charge on matchdays, including this evenings game against Linfield at Shamrock Park.
The matchday environment can be overwhelming for some fans, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or other sensory processing conditions. Loud cheers, bright lights and busy crowds can create barriers to fully enjoying the game. This initiative aims to make football more inclusive and accessible for all.
Each sensory bag is presented in an official Portadown FC drawstring bag and includes:
Noise-cancelling headphones
Sensory toys
Fidget toys
Shamrock Bingo Laminated Sheet
Info Sheet
Supporters can borrow a bag by requesting at the turnstiles on the day of the match or reserve one in advance by contacting Zoe Elliott on 07493727995. Bags should be collected from the turnstiles and returned to any Matchday Steward after the game.
Coming soon!

We spend a lot of time in grassroots football discussing formats, pathways, rules and development. I still think one of the best measures we've got is much simpler:
Did the kid get back in the car wanting to come again next week? Get that right and we're doing alright.
