Was hanging out with my homies @paripatel__ and Ryan who founded Zone wear.zone. We are building the “whoop for your brain” with wireless neural sensing earbuds. There are several super impressive things that have been accomplished since I met Pari & Ryan like 1.5 years ago (When the product was being built on plastic breadboards). - minituarized the core technology of an EEG cap into a wireless earbuds and achieved 85% accuracy of a 32 lead EEG cap. - for reference to wearables in other industries whoop has about a 7-15% error range for your VO2 when compared to a lab test. - built a beautiful consumer brand that is a Trojan Horse for this really crazy deep tech product - collected 1 billion neural data points to decode human behavior from neural data. Crazy work.

👀 one of the coolest physical ai companies out there today.
We just hit 100M ARR within 10 months of starting deployments. We are in factory lines. On construction sites. In kitchens. In data centers. Cleaning. Welding. Building. Cooking. Deploying.

Congrats @AlexMonahaqyrt on launching this exciting initiative. Alex is a bad ass entrepreneur who bootstrapped his own sports data company from $0 to a $160M exit and now giving the wisdom and resources back. 0% equity grants, events, mentorship. This is the sorta guy you want at day 0. Check it out 🚀🚀🚀.
Soft launching +EV: plusev.tech/. @EV_Fellowship I think this is *very* important for the world.. Otherwise I'd retire 🫠 Notes: > It's NOT a venture fund > The goal is to unblock top ambition/talent, underserved young people with big dreams. Where do small grants/mentorship make a *real* difference? > Every company and person helping/contributing time, capital, compute credits is (obviously) doing this pro-bono. > The goal is ambition with social good in *some* way... Meme coin trading apps, etc aren't the target. Again, this isn't a venture fund. > Literally launching, so be patient if website issues etc > If you want to help, please email: [email protected]! > With the rise of AI, most applications for anything get a lot of noise & bullshit... It's easy to spam them! The vast majority of people will be rejected for obvious reasons. If you don't get an interview, you're rejected. The point of this is to cater to the top 1% underserved, young people who *could* change the world but don't have the connections, capital, mentorship. This does *not* cater to the 99%. > Decisions are made by an independent committee. Harvard iLab mentors, ex/current founders, VCs, etc.

People are citing Anthropics 2025 revenue of $4.6B from IPO filing ahead of their speculated $2T IPO and freaking out. Very important to note that Anthropic reported something like $65B annualized run rate in July to investors. For 26’ revenue they reported $4.73 billion in Q1 2026 and surged past $11.5 billion in Q2 2026. It is not unreasonable that they could close out the year near $100B and certainly hit that in 2027 IMO. It is true that even at $65B rev run rate it’s a crazy multiple. And a good question of how long could they continue to 10x or even 5x revenue. But regardless of where you stand on that debate - plz don’t look silly by posting at IPO saying they only have $4.6B in revenue at a $2T valuation. It is challenging to keep up with the data on a private company growing at unprecedented rates when the IPO filings on financials are last year but just dig a bit deeper into the nuance.

Went to this event tonight. Here were the top 3 crazy ideas I heard. 1. Biologic computing (building computer chips + running applications) on material synthesized from DNA. 2. surgical robots that can work in MRI machines. 3. CPG hair care brand made from a rare Moroccan cactus oil extract.

I gave the fly brain $100 to trade bitcoin. Dopamine neurons are stimulated when the fly makes profit. Neuron activity controls buy/sell decisions and makes trades on coinbase. Will the fly get rich?

As a VC a common question you get is “how do you assess your deals?” Very simple. I play the founder in chess. If they win, I invest. If I win, I pass. Jokes aside - @yashallurii you have to run back 529 Labs chess night so we can finish our game… ♟️
