Levity brings decentralised hosting and storage code to the @Polkadot ecosystem.
Authorise. Store. Retrieve via IPFS. Data is retained by default for ~14 days, renewable before expiry. Content is addressed by hash, not by server location.
Experimental, open-source, and published for developers to explore.

My 90s game project, which was never completed, brought back to life in Javascript by Claude. This was my 4th demo showing off the overworld work. The next demo was to introduce the battle engine.

The hard problems in blockchain are not solved by short-term solutions.
Gavin Wood’s JAM Tour made the case for designing around decentralization, scalability, verifiability and trust minimization from the start.

Will MORE funding help police figure out how to not shoot miniature donkeys? Or should they be DEfunded?

Really disappointed with @united tonight. Not the worn out seat, although that did rub. Not even the broken tray table that pinched my finger and made me bleed. They gave me a bandaid. It's my bags being hours late. Very bad time for it and it's going to cost me money. ☹️

made an app store for the polkadot devnet
there is no backend.
the site is a CID, the domain is a text record pointing at it, and a cron job re-reads the chain every hour
72 apps, real screenshots, reviews in a contract
dot-store.dot, open it in the polkadot app
My little Polkadot Devnet tracker dotmetrics.dot is now indexing 69 apps.
32 deployed. 25 published.
Still early.

Now that @Web3summit 2026 is over, we're looking back at two full-on days of workshops, conversations and community!
🎮 We kicked off with Play, Own, Build: The New Foundations of Gaming, a hands-on workshop exploring how gaming is becoming one of the most compelling examples of Web3 in action.
Together with builders from across the ecosystem, participants explored how traditional applications can evolve into decentralized experiences, where players don't just play the game, but own their assets and actively participate in the systems they use.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the discussion and a special thanks to @Krayt78 for leading the session. It was the perfect way to start these incredible days in Berlin.

Someone built a Game Boy on the @Polkadot Products Devnet.
Fully on-chain. Playable in the browser. No server.
This is what happens when you give developers an open devnet and get out of the way.

I mean, seriously... this would be fun.
If the gaming industry is imploding and all, we should really consider doing some IP mashups. Just say'n.

I am a supporter of @coinbase and have referred a great many people to the service. I am well aware of the negativity they receive, but I like them because reasons. However, the UX of their app is pretty bad and constantly getting worse. It may be the thing that breaks me.

“Funding secured”
Ethereum Could Face a Funding Crisis Within Months
Former Ethereum $ETH Foundation contributor Trent Van Epps warned that Ethereum's core development ecosystem could face a funding crisis within the next 3 to 9 months.
He cited Ethereum Foundation spending cuts and the expiration of the Client Incentive Program.
Van Epps estimates core development requires roughly $30 million annually and says new funding mechanisms may be needed.
