In a couple years AI has gone from a fascinating novelty to integral or at least somewhat useful in much of what I do. As this tech progresses, it will be woven into lives the way electricity, internet & smartphones were. Robotics will follow. The promises & perils are real.

The #1 use for AI is therapy. Many therapists are ironically reacting in an unbalanced way, defensively insisting humans are much better therapists. Of course, many are. But that’s a selfish take that ignores millions of people getting decent therapy that otherwise would not.
